Joe and his team from York Concrete Inc. have just completed a beautiful job Installing stamped concrete in my basement. I'm very happy with communication, finished product, price and timeline. I'm pleased to say that I've learned a bit about concrete too! Joe was very professional and accommodating. He answered all my question without pause and always made contact if he had any questions for me. I'm not always the easiest person to deal with when doing renovations, but York Concrete Inc. made me feel like I am a very easy customer!

We noticed a walkway that had been done in our area by York Concrete. It looked beautiful. We called Joe and he came to us within a day or so and gave us a quote for our walkway. Not only did we want it the same line as what had been there before, we wanted to widen it a bit and also have it reflect the way to the back yard. We had our quote and within a few days, Joe was back for contract signing etc. As I’m sure you can appreciate, a walkway being done VS a large new home development are miles apart however Joe always made us feel very comfortable and that no job too small was beneath him. What we wanted and ‘what about this’ was ALWAYS taken into consideration. ONLY if we asked for it, would Joe give his opinion on stuff (colour, border etc.). The excavation was done quickly and our old interlock was taken away right then and there. Joe always had whatever product he needed for the job, on the site with him. We never waited for him to go get more stones etc. THAT’S CALLED BEING PREPARED – and again, we never felt like our job was so small compared to his other ones. I saw Joe redo sections in the wet concrete if he wasn’t happy. Seriously- he’d kneel down, smudge the concrete and start again. Perfection and quality workmanship are at the top of his list. We had many questions and concerns and he answered them all every time one came up. Again it was wonderful to deal with someone who wasn’t there to make a buck but more so, show us the top quality that we’d expect and he would deliver. We felt he did SUCH an amazing job, we may have him back next spring/ summer to do the walkway on the other side. Thanks Joe – for making us feel like our job was just as important as your other larger projects. We really appreciate it and look forward to many years with the new walkway. Not only would I HJIGHLY recommend York Concrete, but I have already done just that with many colleagues and friends. GREAT company, GREAT workmanship – we should always be so lucky to deal with companies like this one, for any home upgrades/ renos.

We saw Joe's Ad on Kijji and called him. He came to see us the next day. He listened to us and then made his recommendations. He was great, as he guided us through the process. We have been wanted to a stamped concrete path in the front of our house for a few years. Last year I reached out to a few contractors to quote on the job. Joe and his team at York Concrete were the most responsive to our questions and appeared the most professional. Following this winter we decided to finally proceed with completing this job. Without hesitation I reached out to Joe and his team to complete this work.

In the design phase, we were able to work with Joe to establish a design, stamp and colour that suited our needs. Joe was helpful providing us examples of previous projects and providing a sketch of the layout for ours.

Joe and his team were very prompt in starting our job. Each day they arrived on time and were very understanding of our timelines. Joe was very good at keeping me informed as the project moved along and notified me of any information I needed to know at each stage of the project.

A interesting thing of note in our project, a Canada Post delivery person stepped in our wet concrete since he cross our property rather than accessing the path from the sidewalk resulting in a footprint in the work. Joe came back out that same day and worked to repair the damage. This speaks to Joe's extreme devotion to customer service and pride in his work product.

We had worked with other contractors to do a stamped concrete path in our backyard. Joe also assisted us in repairing some issues we had with that path.

I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking to do stamped concrete work.

York concrete removed my unstable concrete slab stairway at the side of my house, formed on poured a concrete replacement. The service was very friendly, every step of the process was explained and every question answered. Good Job!! Would recommend!!
