Daniel was able to accommodate me when I called him the day before the test needed to be done. He was very helpful and informative and gave me the results very quick, out of all the companies I called, Daniel was the only one that could give me the results the same day.

I was renovating my house for my family's use. It is an older home, maybe built in the 1950's. My contractor was about to do some wiring and some attic/ceiling adjustments as part of the reno, and he noticed that the attic contained some potential asbestos containing vermiculite insulation, hidden below bats of insulation.  I called Danny from Danson Environmental, as he was referred to me from the contractor, to have this house tested as quickly as possible. I didn't want the progress on the reno to be held up more than it had to. Well, there was some kind of asbestos found in the insulation as well as a secondary source, old tiles in the basement.   Danson Environmental figured this out pretty quickly and then arranged everything to be removed and cleaned up.   It went fast, in my opinion, and the air sample taken afterwards, gave me further peace of mind and I guess the contractors as well that the work was done properly. Thank you Danson Environment for getting this done in a timely and professional manner.

We were experiencing a musty odour in our Basement and could not find out what the source was as we did not identify any water damage in the Basement. Danson Environmental was recommended to us from a friend that previously used their services. Following the Investigation, Danson Environmental located the source of water intrusion which was from a roof water leader pooling water on a corner of our house affecting a location of drywall wall within the Basement. Danson Environmental then issued an Assessment Report with Scope of Work for a Contractor to rectify the problem, and since then we have had no further issues. I had originally contacted other Consulting Firms to acquire information and pricing, and not only was Danson Environmental’s quoted price reasonable, following the assessment Danson Environmental’s final price was actually lower than initially quoted as air sampling was not required as the mould issue had been determined. It’s very hard these days to find that kind of honesty anywhere!

Danson helped us with the inspection and removal of the asbestos insulation around our pipes in the basement. I was told this was a common problem with older houses in my area. I was worried about the removal process and any possible exposure to my family. I was ensured that the whole area would be completed sealed off to the rest of the house. They really took their time to make sure the area was sercurely and completely sealed off. Afterwards, the air was monitored to ensure that nothing harmful remained. I would not hesitate to recommend Danson. They totally put my mind at ease and did a great job.

Daniel was the only one available on a Sunday to do the TEM (asbestos-specific) air test (I called on a Saturday and needed it done asap). He is truly professional and patient, and calmed me down when I was frantic. Many thanks, Daniel!!
