Tm Appliance Service

We moved in last year and our boiler gas oven conked out (but the stove top burners and everything else still works). Here's why we like Tes at TM Appliance Repair:
1) easy to book an appointment (call and he gets back to you quickly)
2)a) easy to get a date and time slot we want
2)b) Tes arrived on time i.e. too many services leave you waiting and wondering and/or ask for a big time window for their arrival
3) Tes did a thorough job of explaining what needed repair, how the parts etc. worked and completed the repair quickly and efficiently. He also cleaned up the kitchen where he was working.
4) Tes is extremely safety-conscious. Short version is that Tes fixed and explained some of the poor workmanship by the original installer. He recommended that our CO detectors be placed in the hallways and near the ground.
5) Tes recommended that we keep our old stove/oven as long as possible (i.e. no up-selling).

In Early December 2014, I called Tes on a recommendation to intall my dishwasher after a botched attempt of an install by another contractor. Tes reinstalled the dishwasher, and left me with a feeling of satisfaction that I felt I needed to write about.

Tes was very pleasant to deal with on the phone, an appointment was set up quickly, and for the next day. He showed up that day during a snowstorm, which I feel speaks to his professionalism.

I watched Tes work, and could tell he had experience and knowledge (unlike the previous contractor). He pointed out what had been done in error, why it was wrong, and proceeded to do it the right way. Tes was very meticulous, offered me options on how he could do the install, and made sure things were being done the way I wanted them. The end result was nothing short of perfect.

A dishwasher install may not be the biggest job, I know... But being a new homeowner, peace of mind without any fuss or issue, goes a long way. Thank you Tes, it was a pleasure having you in my home...

Our fridge stopped working; we submitted a 'fridge fix' query to the Homestars website (our first time), and TM Appliance was the first to respond. Although the call-out charge was not the cheapest offered to us, the responsiveness and level of service offered to us was first class. We worked directly with Tes, and he was efficient, friendly and very clear as to the scope and timing for the repair. He kept us up to date throughout and completed the fix, and our fridge is now back to normal. If an appliance need arises in the future, I will have no hesitation to work with Tes again.

I've very happy with TM Appliance Service. I contacted couple of companies from homestars about my appliances repair and this company came the quickest and did an amazing job. Our refrigerator suddenly lost power and we called Tes to look into it. Tes, was actually in midst of servicing our oven--which is another review that will be sure to positive. In both cases, the level of professionalism, know-how and confidence he inspires makes it immediately clear that he is a cut above previous servicemen we have had. He actually assessed the situation in short order, made it clear what the problem was and with my permission, went about the process of repairing it. Clean, fast and affordable.
Most impressive, he made recommendations that allowed me to make my own decisions, gave me options and went the extra mile to have me truly understand how to maintain my refrigerator.
Tes just recently fixed my oven door which was a problem for years and had been looked at by several so-called servicemen and left as 'unfixable'--with Tes it was done in 20minutes [!] once parts arrived but I will leave that for another review once the ignitor is repaired as well.
Bottom line: Tes is on my list of go-to guys for ALL my appliances in my own home and rentals.

timely response in the morning when i pinged the request and he followed up in the evening before coming. He spent time to really go with me to Lowe's and helped me pick up the dishwasher after we found the one we had could't be repaired.

We were in a desperate situation. No Heat in the dead on winter.
Tes came within one hour of our call, and fixed the problem with in 2 hours. Superb service, excellent response time, and very very fair pricing. He even called the next day as a follow up call!

My fridge was making a loud screeching noise for several months. I called TM Appliance and he made himself available at our earliest convenience. He examined the fridge and knew what the problem was instantly. He changed the motor and went beyond his role by cleaning the freezer. The fridge hasn't made a noise since. Overall, the service was excellent and I would hire TM Appliance Service again!

My furnace went out during the cold storm and I called TM Appliance service. Best decision I've done in my life! Not only did he fix my furnace, but also added piping outside my house (as the previous layout was horrible) to ensure that the problem will not happen again. He also went above and beyond his work by removing an old humidifier that was wasting water and cleaned it out so rust will stop accumulating and stopped the water wastage. Honestly anything furnace related, this guy knows his stuff! He's been doing it for years and it shows!! Doesn't hurt that he is very articulate and takes pride in his work :)

I needed to renew the water filter in my fridge. I contacted the retailer, and was informed that the closest store where I could pick one up was in Niagara Falls!The rep gave me the option of placing an order by phone but it would take 2-3 business days to be delivered. I contacted TM Appliance and I got 2 filter delivered and installed in less than 24 hours. Great service!
