I was very impressed with the quality of service and the availibility of Ashton Heating and Cooling. to fix the issues I was having with my gas fireplace. The pilot light would not ignite, and I needed a thorough cleaning and gasket replacemnent. I would highly recommened them, and will use them again.

We have had the BEST experience with the team at Ashton - from the folks in the office to Mike, the technician, who looked after us on both calls. My wife and I recently moved from Ottawa and Oshawa - so looking after our HVAC requirements was really important. Our 2 year old grandson was there when Mike came to first look after the gas fireplace - he has not stopped talking about "Mike the fireplace guy" - Mike took the time to show him his tools, etc. On his next visit (for the furnace) he brought stickers for our grandson - perfect. Anyway the quality of service and support is second to none! We signed up for their mid priced maintenance/protection plan - we are confident that they will be there in the unlikely event we need them through the upcoming winter season! Way to go Ashton!

Bill and his team are just super and they have done a great job cleaning up my fireplace completely and changing the old wall thermostat to a remote one. It likes a new fireplace now! Thanks Bill!

Bill is awesome! He walked me through the problems with my fireplace and he did his job accordingly. He also helped install my bbq grill on an existing gas line. He's a jolly guy who really likes what he's doing. I love that his company utilizes the technologies available to make the whole experience easy and pleasant. As an added bonus, he has a cute truck with his a caricature of himself plastered all around it. Deserves it's own Instagram account.

Bill had a cancellation, called and asked if they could install ac next day. Sure. James and apprentice arrived starting re and re of old mini split that had been dead for years and put in new one with heat pump. A couple of snags nothing they couldn't handle, to be expected with someone elses work. Bill and team did a excellent job with great care In and out. They were clean and efficient. New customer - A/C crashes on scorching hot day - Mike was here in 3 hours, did a full check on everything (A/C-furnace-thermostat) and figured out we needed a new thermostat. Allowed us to go buy a new one and came back and installed later that day. Very professional and explained everything. And was a nice surprise not to have sticker shock when the bill arrived - very fair and the work was well done. We now have a new go-to for HVAC.

Bill and his crew did an amazing job installing my new air conditioner. The date that I was available was not ideal for them but thankfully they were still able to accommodate me. Bill and team replaced our Furance and A/C and we couldn't be happier with the service and results. Bill and team were able to complete the process from quote to installation in less that 5 days. Despite having to deal with torrential rainstorms the installation team was friendly and professional and the quality of the installation shows. Bill and his team are our go-to for all HVAC/Gas related issues. Ever since we've moved into Durham Region several years ago they consistently went far above the call of duty to provide flawless service through multiple visits. First they helped to fix and extend the life of pre-existing units (furnace, ac, 2 gas fire places) and then later worked to provide replacements which are working far better than what we had before.

On several occasions unexpected issues showed up during work which resulted in the whole job being more involved and/or taking longer than originally scheduled - Bill never shied away from making sure he left everything in a perfect state. His attitude to the work reminds of me the Steve Jobs attitude of "it's never too late to do it right."
