Gardenzilla Lawn & Garden

Complete spring clean up of both front and back yards/gardens. Very happy - what a difference - looks great! They came and tackled everything quickly. Happened to be the same day as the city yard waste pick-up, so they put the bags right at the curb for me.

My first seasonal planter looks great, and the customer service was excellent. Email communication was quick and clear. They did a great job on the planter and cleaned everything up nicely on the porch.

I have used Gardenzilla for about 5 years now, both for regular maintenance as well as landscaping and planting. I have found them to be very consistent, reliable and capable. I had an issue with a plant that inexplicably kept turning orange and found Michael to be very fair and helpful. I would *highly* recommend Gardenzilla!

We had tried a local mowing service and a very expensive Landscaping company before, but, Gardenzilla was by far the best both experience and value. They worked together with our tree company and very picky neighbours. Our lawns and gardens always looked great.

Jim was over last week and did a miraculous job sorting out a 30 X 3 ft sloped garden strip - removing grass, weeding and dividing plants. He was here all day and left everything spotless when he left. Thank you Jim! Will definitely reach out to Gardenzilla again when I can't manage a garden chore myself.

I needed to have my back yard cleared out. Kaysha was extremely helpful and patient with me, walking me through the process. I was happy with their quote and everything. However, I really needed to have the work done right away and they were booking for the middle of September. I was able, unexpectedly, to find someone who was able to clear the yard by my preferred deadline so I have cancelled my booking with Gardenzilla, regretfully. I would, and will, use them in the future. Great service!

I was introduced to Gardenzilla by accident (literally--but that's a story for another time), and worked with the team to arrange some yard clean up and a patio installation. Mike (the owner) was wonderful, from meeting with me to discuss ideas, working through a quote that would achieve what we were looking for without breaking the bank, all the way to following up to ensure that I was pleased with the overall service and outcome. Our patio is exactly what we were looking for, and constructed with expertise and quality materials; while the clean up of our yard has added some much needed visual interest and was done with care. I am a bit of a perfectionist and a tough customer, but the team was very willing to work with me to arrive at the vision we had, and even put up with some last-minute changes. All in all, we had a wonderful experience with Gardenzilla, and look forward to working with them again!

We engaged Gardenzilla to do two jobs: installation of a new garden in front of our house and upgrading of the backyard garden with new grass sod and plants. The front garden was a challenge, as we had already commissioned a detailed design, and we had a desire to keep a large rosebush and some evergreens that had grown over the years. Gardenzilla did a marvellous job integrating the new plants into the space, adapting to the formal design and improving the appearance of a prominent evergreen by pruning it. In the backyard, Gardenzilla resodded an area that had gone to dust because of dogs and added plants here and there to fill out the garden and make it look even more natural. The Gardenzilla team also pruned a 100-year old apple tree without asking (or charging). Now that we have lived with the backyard for several weeks, we are going to make some adjustments and Gardenzilla is ready with options. My wife and are are extremely pleased with Gardenzilla's work. The team was courteous and efficient, and not a scrap of refuse was left. Communication with Michael was excellent. Overall, the long wait we had was definitely worth it.
