I needed my second floor hardwood finished. I was in a hurry to move in to my house and didn't have anytime to finish the job myself. I called Adam who was able to do the job on short notice. He actually came on Canada day, a day he was planning to have off and did a amazing job. I am very picky about flooring and inspected every inch of the job. It was very well installed. I would definitely recommend this company.

We recently purchased a high end laminate flooring in Barrie and asked if they could install the flooring. Although the original intent was to do it ourselves - we knew it was going to be a tricky and technical install, so we decided to hire their installers...and man oh man, was that ever the right decision! Adam showed up, on time despite having some vehicle issues. He was beyond polite and professional. Adam listened to our concerns and wants and did everything to make it all happen, which he did. The floors turned out spectacularly...way better than we thought they would due to the age of the house. Adam is a fast, efficient and meticulous worker and his pride shows in the finished product. We are generally a "do it yourself" kind of family - but there is no question at all that when we have ANY flooring jobs to be done, Adam will be the first call we make.
We couldn't be more happy with the workmanship and Adams good nature.
If you are looking to have hardwood or laminate flooring installed, Adam is your man. You won't be sorry!

Adam, the owner of Tycan saved our life! We closed on our house on Friday and needed floors done the next day! Our original contractor who we booked four weeks prior to bailed on us and Adam from Tycan was willing to help and accommodate our needs in extremely short notice. His work was very clean and respected our requests professionally. I don't think I can get my shirt dry cleaned faster than Adam's willingness to come to Waterloo on a weekend to help us complete our flooring installation.
On top of it all, I thought I was going to be upcharged significantly for the short notice however Adam was extremely sympathetic to our story and in fact was cheaper than the original contractor who left us hanging.
I would in a heart beat recommend Adam to anyone who is looking for work done professional at an extremely reasonable cost.

Adam did a fantastic job on my floors. Better than I was expecting. Explained the process, gave me clear updates throughout the job, and the pride he takes in his work showed. My house is over 100 years old with squeaky floors and bowing hallways. When he was done the squeaks were gone and it looked brand new.

Adam and his team not only removed our old carpet and trim, installed beautiful new maple floors and trim on our main floor, but they did so professionally and efficiently. They worked around my schedule and were diligent at cleaning up after themselves. Love our new floors and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Contacted Adam to come in and install some hard wood flooring I had purchased for the 1st floor of my home. With one quick visit to check out the wood and the area I wanted it installed, he quickly came up with a plan and quote that met my budget and needs. On the day of installation Adam and his team came in and did a beautiful job. Quality and cleanliness were a high priority, it was great to see.
