Sectional

Purchased sectional on March 1 2015, delivered March 5. Both pieces damaged. They refuse to re-imburse. They are on BBB with a D+, they are know to Consumer Canada. Need other victims to contact to pursue issue.

Sectional Sofa

There was issues with the customer service from the moment after I paid the deposit for a sectional couch. It was a 2 week wait that turned into 5 weeks. I arranged for pickup of the couch on Monday, only to arrive and the items were damaged with rips that had clearly been glued poorly back together. After being told it was my fault for the damage to the couch, I was upset and made them agree to deliver a new couch free of charge. The couch was delivered and we made sure it had no visible damage. After owning the couch for a week and sitting on it briefly in that time, I noticed it started to sink in areas and was warping. After looking underneath the couch I found that not only was it assembled with scrap pieces of wood, but these pieces are stapled together. Not nailed or screwed or reinforced in anyway, but STAPLED, with a staple gun. The sectional is now falling apart and there is nothing being done to rectify this poorly made item and receive reimbursement for our money spent and removal of the broken furniture. I would like to make very clear that barely any use was made with the couch before it had started to come apart at the connections. After speaking with other companies they have stated that the way this sectional was assembled is highly incorrect and very unsafe. We plan on replacing the couch with a new one from a more established company as this one now must be thrown away. My hope is that the company refunds the full amount of $500.00 and they put more pride into making their items for selling as I plan on being very vocal with my poor experience.The couch is now in pieces and will be thrown out as it is currently taking up room in my apartment and is a safety hazard to my spouse and pets.

Bedsets

i went to this store with my wife, mom , dad, and my two daughters in dec. we selected two bed sets. We told their sales man that we will confirm this order within week. But he asked me to deposit $1200 cash,,,because total set amount was $3200 and rest of amount before the delivery of bed sets. But i told him i will final the order within this week as i wanted to show these to my family friends and i had not that much cash also at that time. Then the salesman asked me to deposit $200 using credit card and said he will not finalize the order to Ashley until i will finalize the order. he clearly agreed to pay me my deposit $2oo back in case i dont finalize the order. He also told us that if i will confirm the order late, the delivery will be late. i said ok, we are not in rush We six family members are witness of this conversation. I trusted them and signed the order form, that was my biggest fault. After four days i went back to this store with two of my family friends and said that i want to buy only one bed set and its price is $100 cheaper in another store and i showed him the flyer. But the salesman said that there is nothing like price match. Then i said give me my money back i don't want to buy any thing. He refused to refund me the money saying that he has ordered my stuff, i was surprised at his answer and felt my self trapped.When i asked him how can you order the stuff if i haven't confirm the order and i never gave you balance thousand dollar of deposit .But no solid answer.He was also unable to show us the copy of order he placed. He said he will talk to his boss and let me know within a week. But when i went to his store again his boss said that he will not refund me my money,,, doesnt matter i confirmed the order or not. He said he does not trust me and my family, he only trust on his sales man. Legaly they may be right because their terms and conditions say they will not refund deposit.. But morally they were wrong. He never gave me my money back and any any thing against it. i will never go back to this store and suggest everybody to go to the stores who really keep their words...

Best company to deal with I bought $23000 furniture and everything came on time and not even one complain very good service. And again I bought 23000$ not 2300$.Best store and best customer service

Products and services

I usually dont write reviews but people need to know how terrible this business is. They gave us a discount, crossed our items off the invoice didnt tell us, then cancelled our order when we tried to argue our case, didnt take responsibility for cancelling and charged us extra for cancelling when we reordered, then gave us the wrong models and damage products.There is a store in York. There is only one salesperson and he is does not tell the truth. We bought a lot of furniture, the total came out to be $3400. He gave us a $200 discount. That sounds good right? Well it was a bad move. We came to the store and ordered on the 15th of September, 2013. We ordered, did the paperwork and gave the deposit. Our delivery date was the 8th of October, 2013. The day before, my parents came to give him the rest of the money. But he failed to tell the truth and changed our order. He said that the 4 stools we bought were not included in the order. The stools costed $200, and that was the discount he gave us. He saw that the numbers o the items didnt add up and crossed out 4 stool on our order. We had a huge argument and told us to pay the extra $200. After hours of complaining, we didnt get what he promised on the day we bought it and left. Then my parents went to the store again with our invoice because we didnt have it before, and we told him to look at it, that the stools were not crossed out on our invoice and said no and so on. He had from the 15th of september to the 8th of october to call and tell me this but he did not. My parents left and the next day returned with me, because i speak better english than my parents. He said that he canceled our order and that my dad cancelled it, but why would my dad cancel the order he wanted to buy. He said that we lost our $500 deposit and we couldnt get it back. He bended the truth and after countless hours we remade the order and had to pay in total $3500 for everything, charging $3200 for the products and $300 for cancelling the order. When we came to the store to pick up the things, he didnt open the gate and we couldnt get the truck to the back, he pushed our worker in a disrespectful manner and threatened to call 911 on us. We got the furniture and left, when we opened the boxes and stuff, the 4 stools we bought were a different design, there were extra pieces of the original model that was inside that didnt fit on the model he gave us, the colour was different, and the stools dont stay together as a piece, when you go to pick it up from the seat part the bottom where the stand is falls straight down. Our coffee tables had scratched legs. Our marble dinner table was cracked and the chairs were not leveled properly and wobble. The corner of my parents dresser was moulded and a chunk of the corner is missing. The wood of the moulded part darkened. When we were at the store, we wanted to open the boxes but he said no because we didnt have tape to tape it back up, he knew this. Our bedroom chest also wobbled and the night tables were a different model from the ones in store. And he wont own up to anyhing. Out of all i would not recommend this to anybody that walks through that door. One of the worst customer service, worst products, and they insult you. Save your money, dont walk in because the prices are cheap, save the money and go to a professional seller.

Sofa

I bought a sofa from this company. I was suppose to pick it up on a Saturday. I called on Thursday to confirm that the furniture was available for pick up someone assured me that the time and day was convenient. I went there at the day they say I should go and guess what no sofa. The floor staff was not professional and he was not very kind at all. Overall worst experience. I would never ever recommend this company. Horrible experience!!!
