Jason was friendly and knowledgeable in helping us understand the details of what we should expect when planning a basement renovation. He made it very easy for us to build a suitable quote for a basement renovation that will be sufficient to meet our family's needs.

All throughout the meeting, we particularly appreciated not feeling pressured by typical sales tactics to spend beyond what we can realistically afford.

Customer service is fair. The designers are friendly and accommodating and will work with you to reach a good design. The materials are reasonably good quality. The implementation of the project started good but the three weeks timeline was never realized. Our project dragged for over 9 weeks. My biggest disappointment was recently when I finally moved the tv to the finished basement, the connection was not working properly. Rogers will have to send a technician to figure out the problem. Small little things could have made our experience a lot more positiv. In general we are satisfied but not overly satisfied as we expected.

Kam was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and guided us through the quote and contract with ease. He answered our many many questions with patience and expertise. We are looking forward to working with the team to get our basement done next month.

We are in the process of finishing our basement and have been in consultation with Kam Oveisy. He is very knowledgable and professional and was very clear in explaining everything from beginning to end, as we had ALOT of questions. AGM did an awesome full basement reno for my wife and I back in 2014. And we've been loving the space since then.

Unfortunately, we had a little plumbing problem in late June that involved ripping up 200 sq ft of nice mint flooring so a plumbing crew could jack-hammer the floor and replace 20ft of cracked 60 year old drain pipe.

And of course, when I ripped up the floor I basically wrecked all the pieces.

So I contacted AGM...because they had sourced and supplied the floor back in 2014.

Within fairly short order they had sourced the flooring, and arranged for a crew to come out and repair the damaged space.

I was not surprised when the crew showed up at 8am sharp on the morning of the date scheduled and had the job completed within a couple of hours. This is how they operate. The show up when they say they will. They start early. They work their tails off and they get the job done.

This company is completely on their game.

We plan to finish our basement. We contacted AGM last week and their rep, Kam, visited us to have a look at the area. His communication was more than a sales pitch. When I randomly enquired about some “what if” scenarios, I got very honest and satisfactory responses. At the end of our meeting, he invited us to visit their show room to get an idea of the materials they use. We were at AGM show room yesterday. He had prepared a presentation for us. It was based on what we said we required, very professionally and nicely done. He had formulated those in a high level project plan showing the material and labour cost per item. AGM showroom seems very competitive to the large builders’ design studios that I have seen so far. We are going to one of their open houses before making the final decision. Based on our meetings with AGM’s first point of contact, we have a very positive feeling about the company; and, I shall admit that if all of AGM team are as resourceful as Kam, the company is very RICH.
I will update the review if I go with AGM.

Fast, friendly service, knowledgeable staff, great looking hasement. It took less 1 month. The Drywall team saw amazing. The project manager was on top of the project since day one all the way through the entire Renovation process.

After doing more research than I've ever done for anything in my life, we ended up going with AGM Basement Renovations for our Basement. There were a few things that were very important to us… Design, budget, and time. When their designer Kate came to our home, I knew we were working with the right team. I use the word team for a reason. This wasn't just one of those sit down with a contractor and they promise you the world and then you get upcharged for every little thing. We designed a Basement that we love, also AGM ended up winning multiple awards for design. We were so happy with the work that was done and how the job was done.

Great work and very clean. Love the floor and the large glass shower was a great choice to the renovation and gave the basement a wow factor.
