We recently renovated our basement with AGM Renovations, and we are very satisfied with the workmanship and the outcome of the renovation . The staff was very professional and we would recommend AGM to everyone.

We write this review to share our experience with AGM Renovations Ottawa. We are sad to report our experience but the truth needs to be communicated. AGM Renovations conducted a kitchen renovation in our home in 2022/2023. The renovation lasted approximately 4 months; it was originally estimated to last 9 weeks. There were a significant number of design errors made and communication was limited and sporadic. It was a very stressful process and we were sad and disappointed with the final product. Notably, the quartz backsplash remains a concern. We fear that it remains an eyesore rather than the highlight of the kitchen that it was meant to be. For the large amount of money we spent on this project we fear we will not see a return on our investment.
We posted a negative review on Google a number of months ago. AGM did reach out to us to try to rectify the backsplash issue. After a few attempts to correct the issue it became apparent that it would require more material/labor than AGM felt comfortable providing. The issue is that the quartz backsplash was measured incorrectly and is not flush with the ceiling, the gap is visible on either side of the range hood. Caulking it is not enough. As well, the cabinetry was installed incorrectly, one side was lower than the other on each side of the range hood. To summarize: a quartz insert was created to cover the gap, however due to the cabinet issue the insert is not even on on each side of the rangehood. Since the priority for AGM was to repair the mistake with the least amount of money and labor necessary, other options were not pursued.
Please be warned about employing AGM Renovations.

We hired AGM to design and renovate our kitchen and were very satisfied with the quality of the work, the value for what we paid and the final product.

All their staff and contractors were excellent and we would highly recommend them.

UPDATE:
Our roof repair started off well, but Im disappointed to report that our new gutter is still missing a downspout, part of the old downspout has not been removed and some materials/junk are still sitting in our yard.

The project was approaching completion, and with a day left, our project manager, Habib, promised us that he would return with the necessary supplies to complete the remaining work. Everything seemed to be going well and we trusted him. He began scheduling days and times, telling us that he would be here, but then would not show up or even call. Time after time we were left waiting. We never expected this type of conduct from an AGM representative. Part of the reason we chose AGM, was to avoid situations like this.
Weve contacted AGM, explained the situation and are still waiting for a response.
To be clear, we would give Alfonso and his crew 5 stars if we could. We had no problems with the team that performed the actual work. The issue is solely with project management.

Our roof was in need of repair and after much research we decided to go with AGM. Alfonso's crew was phenomenal. They showed up early in the mornings, worked tirelessly in all kinds of weather (daytime heat or rain), into the evening, and cleaned up before they left every day. They all care about the work they are doing and their attention to detail was impressive. Many thanks to Alfonso and every member of the crew that worked on repairing our roof.

First time customer and first major renovation. AGM was patient, helpful and professional. Quality of work was fantastic. They finished ahead of schedule and everything looks great.
