We had decided to re initiate the security system in our recently purchased home. SG3 provided us with quick, quality service. They were patient with our questions and left us in full understanding our new system.

UPDATE: I had called in 2018 to ask why the system was constantly rebooting. They said they needed to charge a service fee for coming out which I agreed to, but then said it wasn't worth it for ME to pay the charge. It's like they didn't want to come out. Anyway, I dropped it. In 2019 I had an electrician install some GFCI outlets and the alarm went wonky while he was here. He told me it was likely a faulty window sensor, bypassed the one he thought might be problematic, and I haven't had a problem since. So much of SG3's follow-up service.

My older home alarm got fried after a blackout in December and had been long past its warranty period. After calling a few alarm installation places for estimates I decided to go with SG3.

George was friendly and very helpful in helping me choose a replacement unit and discussed different panel and zoning options. George and Brody arrived as scheduled and had the unit installed and wired to existing sensors in about 1.5 hours. He showed me how to operate the main and secondary panels and made sure I knew how to bypass sensors and reprogram the master alarm codes (just the process of reprogramming the codes, to be clear) before leaving. He assured me that I could call him anytime if I had any questions.

Both George and Brody were very professional and efficient. I would recommend them for your home security needs!

SG3 Security is the best! We initially contacted them in 2014 and received a quote, but did not go ahead due to personal circumstances. When we called them again recently we expected
the quote to be much higher - after all, 2 years had passed! Much to our surprise, not only was our quote the same, but George remembered us, where we lived, and the details of our concerns at the time! We had our old Brinks system replaced with a PC monitored system and it was installed within the week. We couldn't be happier! George is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He provides great service, the prices are reasonable, and unlike most other companies, the monitoring contract is only for a year. Another plus is that there is no pressure at all. After researching different wireless alarm systems we opted for a 2 Gig system and found SG3 was a local provider of this brand. We couldn't be more pleased to have picked SG3 to install and service the system. George provides unsurpassed customer service. Though we initially had issues with a motion sensor that false alarmed for our cats he returned immediately the same day and upgraded our motion sensor at no charge. I had contacted two other providers of similar systems and found monthly service/monitoring fees to be $15-20 less with SG3 vs these comparable providers. I would recommend George and SG3 without hesitation to anyone.

We're moving and unfortunately won't be able to use their service in our new home on the island. I have been completely satisfied with SG3 and will gladly recommend them to the new owner. We'll miss you George.

We were having sensors going off inappropriately and no amount of keypad punching would fix the problem. George showed up quickly and sorted things out promptly and courteously. He has a great sense of humour and ended his service call with a friendly "no charge". Thanks George. Highly recommended.

I have contacted and compared several home monitoring security companies and finally decided to go with SG3.

George is very professional and friendly. He did the estimate and installation. We had an old Brink system which was installed about 10 to 20 years ago and has not been working since we bought the place last year. George utilized as much as the old wiring and verified working of all existing windows sensors to save us money. Installation was clean and neat. We replaced the whole security main panel, added two more door and window sensors. We went with the fancy DCS touch screen system which provides status and remote control on the cellphone. The installation is very very reasonable. My wife and I love the convenience of controlling the security system on the cellphone.

The monitoring contract is only 1 year comparing to three years from a lot of other companies, and monitoring center is local. The monitoring fee is fair and reasonable. During the contract period, even if our old sensors bugged out, SG3 will replace them for free. Our old pet friendly motion sensors bugged out and kept picking up the motion of the cat. We were able to remotely disarm the system while being away. Called George and he came the next morning and replaced both of the sensors free of charge. Speaking of services, this is the kind of service that everyone would love to have.

George is top notch! When we moved, he removed our system from the old house and reinstalled in our new house, and even installed some components I'd bought separately, all at no charge. Great service, quality work, fast and friendly. Highly recommended.
