Moved from a condo to a semi, and did this inspection to help learn more about my house as it is my biggest investment. Chris did the inspection and was very professional and knowledgeable. He arrived 10 minutes early and proceeded to walk me through all the details, from exterior to the basement to the attic (and everything in between). He not only pointed out minor deficiencies, but also provided recommendations for solutions and explained why the issue was a deficiency. This was very helpful as a first time semi owner - a very thorough walk through (~2.5hrs).

I would highly recommend this service to everyone, epecially if you've had to forgo the home inspection clause in your bid and you are a first timer.

As a first time new home buyer, I had many questions and Rick was very patient with me and answered any and all questions. It was a very cold morning, but he did not rush the exterior inspection. Very happy with my home inspection experience with Chris. He was quick to respond to my request, gave clear summary of inspection provided and the quote. The only negative thing I have to say (not about Chris or the inspection) is that it has been extremely difficult to get this review posted, it keeps getting rejected which is really annoying and making me not want to leave a review on this site. => follow up: Homestars did finally call back and explain the situation and validated this review; so I’ll give them credit for fixing it in a timely manner. Thank you to the nice lady on the phone from Homestars who got the ball rolling to get this rectified quickly.

Called a day before, able to get an appointment the next day right away. Chris arrived promptly and on time for the appointment. He spent a few hours going through the entire house and being extremely thorough, He explained his findings with us and answered all our questions very patiently and professionally .

Report was sent the night right after the inspection, and it was extremely detailed and thorough and had lots of pictures and diagrams for us to reference to.
