Green Side Up did an amazing job creating a live privacy screen with cedar trees against my low fence. I was impressed with Jay's knowledge and vast experience with landscaping and he had a number of suggestions, based on budget. He has an amazing and dedicated crew and Jordan was an excellent leader making sure everything went well. The team bent over backwards to please me, was very patient, asking me for my approval before they did the final planting.

The cedar trees in my backyard make the place refreshing and soothing and they beautifully blend with the environment. True Canadian evergreen landscape. I like the height of the trees towering to the sky...

We found Greenside Up through home stars because we were looking for a reputable company to redo our fence. Jay is very impressionable and immediately put us at ease by putting together a quote that was tailored to our needs while offering his expertise on how to do it right. He and his team are the real deal!! Jay's crew are some of the hardest working (and kind hearted) people you will ever meet! They repeatedly thought about our needs including helping with our yard clean up, and great suggestions for building a spot for our firewood storage and a slew of other things that they were just knowledgeable about (from electrical to botany!). I have bought and lived in 3 different houses over the last 10 years and I always look for the pros to do the work. This is the hands down best company that I have had experience with and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat! Special thanks to Jordan, Jamie, Dave, Josh, Daven, Craig, and Jeff for their above and beyond work! Jay has to be doing something right at an ownership level to have such great motivated employees working for him! I will see you again for our next job gentlemen!!

Jay came to the rescue one miserable winter day a few years ago when I was trying to shovel a foot of snow and ice from the driveway. It was already mid-season and he was at the maximum number for clients but took us on anyway! This year we hired them to do property maintenance as well and so glad we did. Spring clean up is already done and it looks great! Jay and his crews are always very professional and friendly.

We began using Green Side Up for lawn maintenance last year, and after receiving great service, we decided to use them for a huge makeover of our front porch, steps and garden wall. The transformation was incredible! Jay is extremely personable and easy to work with. He consulted with us and kept us informed and included for every step of the process. He was always available and responsive to any request or question we had. And he worked within our budget outlining exactly what could be done without pressuring us in directions we weren’t able to go.
The work itself was done by Jordan and his crew. They did outstanding work! Hard working, respectable and tidy young men who were very knowledgeable and took pride in their work. We are extremely happy with the end result and will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Jay clearly enjoys what he does and is honest and straightforward. His enthusiasm and promptness made it a pleasure to take on this large project and he has an excellent crew that pays attention to quality and detail, while making every effort to create as little disruption as possible. We look forward to having them do more projects for us in the future.

I have been doing business with Jay and team for three years now. They take care of a three acre property for me. I couldn't be happier with their service. We have been using Green Side Up To maintain our property for a few years, and have been more than happy with their services. Green Side Up takes pride in the work they do, and Jay is always available when we need him. In fact, during the recent ice storm on Good Friday,we had a large limb crash down on our driveway, blocking us in. We reached out to Jay, and he was here, chainsaw in hand, within 30 minutes. Being seniors, we are on a fixed income,and when we asked Jay how much we owed him, he said nothing, it's all part of our service.
We are also really pleased with the snow clearing and the GPS that notifies us when the trucks are in our area. They do a great job!
This, combined with the annual food drive, along with the quality of work that they do, is a true reflection on the company.

I was in need of snow removal services this year so, I called Jay Savell, after reading great reviews about his services.
We hired Green Side Up. Even though the winter season has not yet left us, I had to write a review about my experience.
I love the notification email that I get when Green Side is in my area and ready to plow, the courtesy plows ahead of heavy rain and subsequent freeze. Green Side Up also has a facebook page and sends courtesy emails when we are dealing with crazy weather and offers recommendations to help ease the aftermath. All these services and they do a great thorough job clearing the drive and walk ways.

We absolutely loved all our interactions with Jay. He is super responsive and listen to our needs and ideas. He has great professionals working for him who helped us crystalize our vision. The service we received after the job was complete was second to none. Jay was super quick to respond to us when we had a question or needed help or changed our minds about what we would like to see. I would highly reccomed Jay and his company to anyone who is looking to do landscaping work and would absolutely use him again as we settle in our new home and are ready to take on new projects.

Planted a 30 foot cedar hedge down our fence line. Arrived as scheduled for estimate and planting, and completed right on budget. Quick, clean, professional company. Jay is quick to return phone calls and emails and happy to answer any questions. Cedars are thriving.
