Chris repaired our dishwasher on the same day which we were not expecting. We also thought it was going to be a lot more expensive and require parts but he was able to fix the washer without parts and save us a lot of money. Very satisfied.

Chris came in and used the shop vac to clean out the water from behind the machine caused by a leaky copper pipe and not the actual machine. He showed me the issue and then the fixed areas. Chris ran the machine for me afterwards and it seems it's working better than before given the copper pipe appeared to be bent for awhile.

Our washer stopped working so we needed a service tech to look at it. Chris from Quickfix came did an honest evaluation of the problem but I decided to replace the unit due to age and a mold problem. I would highly recommend Chris and Quickfix to friends and family. Thank you for a job well done.

Repair went fine - in and out in 20 minutes. So imagine my shock when I was charged $50 for the part and an astounding $249 (!) for labour. For more than $500 an hour, I should also have received legal counsel. I wish I'd done more research, but needed a quick fix and opted for what seemed like a reputable company. I obviously made a big mistake. Stay away from this shady company.

After initially booking this company to fix a leaking washing machine, the technician arrived, did a couple of quick tests in which the machine didn't leak and did a general service on the machine, but warned that the drain pump might still leak and if so, would require a replacement part.

30 minutes after the tech left, the machine leaked during the rinse/spin cycle to which I contacted the technician, who told me that he would order in a part and that the company would contact me to tell me when it had arrived.

Fast forward 2 weeks and I've not heard a single peep from the company regarding whether the part had actually been ordered, when it was slated to arrive or how long I should expect to wait before I could get my machine fixed.

I contacted their customer service and parts departments numerous times (and often received a voicemail box instead of a live person) and was told conflicting information about when the part was supposed to arrive. I was also told by the parts department the technician should have told me that the part would take a MINIMUM of 2 weeks to arrive, which was never disclosed to me at the time when he said he'd have to order in a part. Had that been explained to me from the start, I would have had an opportunity to decide whether or not I wanted to wait that long with a non-functional machine.

I finally ended up speaking with a customer service person who stated he had just taken over the department, and after explaining my frustration at waiting nearly 3 weeks for a machine to be fixed with no communication whatsoever from their end and that I simply wanted a refund, he said that was not possible and that it appeared that we had to agree to disagree, then he promptly hung up on me as I was trying to respond back.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced with a company of this size - I'll be taking my business to one of the more highly rated repair shops that manage to get more than 4.1 stars rating on Homestars and doesn't get an F rating on Better Business Bureau.
