Accent Contracting

We were pretty hesitant going into this project because we wanted a beautiful suite for my parents, but we were also on a budget that we needed to stick to. I met and got quotes from several contractors until we met Carmine from Accent Contracting. It was after meeting him and before we even got his quote, that we had decided that we really wanted to work with him. We instantly got a great vibe from him, and that was the start of an amazing experience in finishing our basement suite. Not only was Carmine's quote very reasonable, the time frame that he gave us to finish a full 2 bedroom suite in our basement (from bare bones) was just under 4 weeks, and he followed through on that completion! Throughout the process, Carmine communicated with us 100% on every detail. He was very open to suggestions and took them with a smile (even though it meant changing something and more work hours) and was nothing but helpful and professional. He honestly made, what could have been a stressful month of renovations, into a fun and stress-free experience. It was important for me to go with a contractor that I wouldn't feel intimidated talking to, and that was definitely Carmine. He was very easy to talk to and super friendly all the time. A big plus for us as well, was that he was so great with our kids. Our son would look forward to going to see him first thing every morning. Carmine has a big heart and it definitely shows in his attitude and performance. A huge, huge thank you to Carmine for his professionalism and dedication to this project. We are so happy with the end results and we have nothing but amazing things to say about Accent Contracting.

Carmine has given our old fireplace a brand new look. He is very professional, sticks to the timeline and has a great work ethic. We are very pleased with Carmine's work. The project involved removing rock from the existing fireplace and installing ledgestone rock (floor to ceiling), installing living edge mantle and granite hearth as well as removing cedar from around the stairwell and dry walling that area. We found the job to be done in a very timely manner. Carmine kept us well informed throughout the project. His workmanship was thorough and he worked diligently. It was clear; he took pride in his work. He showed an interest in ensuring we were satisfied with the job and did follow-up afterward. Carmine was very pleasant to work with. I needed to update the basement bedroom and bathroom. After Accent was finished I was ready to move to the basement. I love the recommendations that they offered and how they were on time and on budget!!!

On time, on budget, Recommendations for suppliers had a multitude of selection and met all our needs, suggestions on color, decor and design were bang on. A reliable crew of plumbers, electricians, tilers etc., Will use a again and recommend to others. A honest and reliable company.

WeI use Carmine of Accent Contracting for all our small bathroom, and general renovation work. They work well with the clients, are on time and on budget and will go out of their way to accommodate the clients' needs. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Design Happens

We had a 1980s 5 piece master ensuite that Accent Contracting brought into the new millennium. We wanted it designed to sell, not for our long term benefit. It turned out better than we could have anticipated. Carmine was punctual and organized. He went above and beyond what was originally expected of him. He really made sure that we were satisfied with the finished product and came back to fix mistakes that we were responsible for. Thank you for our new "spa" retreat!
