Steve and his son did an excellent job parging the side wall of our house this past fall. They even helped us parge a spot on the front of the house at the last minute. They were both pleasant to deal with. We would recommend them.

Steve did an exterior wall in-fill for us as we had an exterior side door that we wanted to close up. The job was done fast and the workmanship was excellent. It was great working with Steve, he keeps in contact and is very knowledgeable and professional. Couldn't be happier!

From the first meeting to discuss the work to be done, I was impressed by Steve and his honesty to his profession. He kindly provided a very reasonable quotation for digging out the back foundation of the house, parging then applying blue skin over the new parging. Next Steve and his son Tyler proceeded to lay the form work and rebar for a large concrete pad. When the concrete had set, Steve came back with Tyler and removed the form work,touched up any imperfections in the concrete work and then cleaned up the yard thoroughly. My wife and I were very impressed in the way Steve and Tyler did their work, without any disruption to our daily routines. Highly recommended and would consider for future masonry work.

Because the stone staircase at the front of our house was very expensive to put in I was concerned about hiring just anyone to do the job. Some bricks around our furnace exhaust had disintegrated and about seven of them needed to be replaced. It wasn't a big job but Steve and Tyler were very professional, did quality work and even found bricks that color-matched our existing bricks perfectly.

The brick on the exterior of my old home was disintegrating and needed to be restored badly. Steve and his son were amazing to work with. The brick selected matched the old brick perfectly and improved the curb appeal of my home immensely. The cost was very reasonable and the time frame to complete the work was as discussed prior to starting the work. He was even kind enough to lend me a drill so that I could fix a new mailbox and house numbers without having to go purchase or rent one. Steve and Tyler did excellent work removing a non-structural wall between my dining room and Kitchen and reconfiguring the back wall of my kitchen. The existing back wall of my kitchen is brick with a window and door on opposite ends of the wall. Steve filled in the existing window and door with the existing brick and created an opening in the centre of the back wall where they installed French Doors. The masonry work is exceptional and they preserved the existing bricks so that they could be used to fill in the pre-existing window and door. The masonry work was done so well that you can hardly tell where the pre-existing openings were. The removal of the interior wall was done with such precision that we were able to keep the unique existing paint on the surrounding walls. Steve is truly and throwback to the old world where craftsmanship, honesty and your word went a long way. Steve showed up on time every day and even gave me a lintel that was twice the recommended size at no cost as he had one at his shop. Steve does excellent work at a reasonable cost.

I would definitely recommend Mason Restoration and will be calling them to do my back deck this spring.

Last year we had a unique project that involved removing a part of an existing window in order to accommodate a a new kitchen design. I wasn't sure who to turn to because we needed a professional who can not only work with windows but also knows masonry. It was a huge relief to find Steve (through HomeStars). He did such a great job filling in the part of the window with bricks that match the rest of the house. Price was very reasonable, he was on time and got the job done quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Steve again for future projects or recommend him to friends.
