Blue Lake Landscaping & General Contracting

We had Blue Lake completely transform our inner city backyard. The project was quite challenging and complex due to the location and elevation of the yard. There was no access for machinery and much of the work was done manually. The team was very pleasant to deal with, Bryce was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Peter did a great job with the Batu cladding!

Had a walkway, retaining wall and steps put in. Wanted this to match with existing stairs.

We had a large backyard project including building a roof over an existing deck, creating a larger deck with a second lower level and refinishing the deck surface with composite decking. We also had Blue Lake complete a new concrete sidewalk and put decorative stone around the columns of the deck. We chose Blue Lake because they were one of the only contractors that had expertise in both construction (for the roof and framing) deck building and landscaping/concrete so we were comfortable they could handle all the various aspects of our project. Overall the work was fantastic and we are very pleased. Blue Lake was very professional and thorough during the design process and giving us the initial quote for our project. During construction we had several small changes to make and Blue Lake was excellent at reviewing and revising details throughout the project to ensure quality of work and to make sure the final project met all of our needs. The general manager (Fab) and construction manager (Bryce) for our project worked exceptionally well with us to ensure everything went smoothly and we were happy with the final project.

We hired blue lake based on my sisters recommendation and how much we like the work they had done at her house. We had our entire yard done and the quality of work is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and provide timely response to inquiries and are very helpful. We are very happy with our yard and would recommend Blue Lake

We called Blue Lake based on the recommendation of a friend. We hired them because they took the time to thoroughly review and explain the project to us, rather than some competitors who would pop by and spend 5 minutes looking at our yard before emailing a quote a couple of days later. Although Blue Lake wasn't the cheapest option I believe the quality of the finished product was worth it. Well done.

I have hired Blue Lake to get our landscaping done, including an outdoor stone patio. I have noticed on the DAY OF THE INSTALLATION that the stones aren't shiny as we saw them on the catalogue. We have asked to replace them and have been rudely denied by the Project Manager (With his useless 25+ years of experience). Called Fab and he promised me it will be replaced. I have been sending emails non stop to get my staff done, they made me call Concept Stone to which I have been ignored by Martin and Co.

I have asked Fab to follow up with them, but as per him he has "more important things to do". I have waited for a year to get the stone replaced and I got nothing, when I expressed my frustration to Fab, his answer was : "we have customers frustrated due to all the rain and need to tie up some loose ends and with your service I also need a few days with no rain in the forcast."

Bottom line, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. so if you happen to hire them, DONT PAY till everything is done the way you want it to be, or you can kiss GoodBye to your money. Cause their 1 year warranty is a piece of crap.

Blue Lake was excellent from beginning work to the end.
Fab and his crew did everything what we ask for and they are ok with us changing plan while work was in progress. . . He was very friendly and project was done in the time for our party ( we became grandparents) as he promised .Everybody in neighborhood love our backyard and front of the house and saying how amazing is looking.
We can not be more happier as we are , big thank you.
