Basement, Bathroom, Laundry Room

We had hired a contractor (not Black GC) to underpin waterproof and dig out our basement and build it out, including a bathroom, laundry room, furnace room, new staircase and storage area. After a 3 months of delays and a general nightmare, we had a dug out basement that leaked and was not finished. Black GC came in to take over and finish the job and save us.

They were helpful throughout the process, giving us honest and helpful advice every step of the way. Their workers are thorough, clean and above all else, highly professional.

The end result is a beautiful basement, that is cozy, warm and dry. We couldn't be happier with their work.

Thanks for the stellar review Daniel!
Your job certainly was a challenge, but was a great opportunity to approach a job in a unique way. Everything turned out beautifully and yes, I still am very jealous of your entertainment system.

Bathroom remodeling

About 6 months ago we had a new shower installed in our bathroom. The job was done in two days and the price was the best of the 5 leading contractors I had quote me a price. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

Thanks Matt,
The only way to get a job done on a tight timeline is to have everything designed and all fixtures purchased and ready to go the moment we start.

Back room reno

We replaced an old sunroom with new addition this summer. BCG was recommended by our architect. We found them to be competively priced, reliable with capable staff. David did a great job in coordinating all aspects of the reno, from tear down, framing, to interior finishing. We are very pleased with our new addition and would definately recommend BGC for any home renovation work.

Jamie, Happy Holiday!
I imagine that by doubling your kitchen size that entertaining this season was quite a bit different from last year.
Thanks so much for all the work you did on the back end with your design ideas and terrific architectural plans that really made the job a walk in the park for me.
Have a wonderful 2013

Julia, you know very well that the only person with the "brilliant design ideas" was yourself! It is all of the little items and ideas that were intended to make your life more efficient and your home uniquely you, that made your project turn out so beautifull! Thanks for the review.

fully enclosed glass shower

I was referred by a friend to Black GC. When my friends said that Black takes care of everything, they weren't kidding. the install was quick, lead time was to be expected and the finish was great. I got a call every day for 3 days as a reminder not to use the shower! They even came back to clean the fingerprints off the glass after the 3 days cure time was up!

The add value that Black provides as project managers is well worth the extra money.

Andrew and David are knowledgeable about construction, honest, transparent and always very responsive. They are a pleasure to work with. Even now, two years later, they respond immediately when I have issues with my house (not even associated with their work). I don't know what I would do without them.

$300,000.00

Wow! Thanks so much Jennifer. Regularly maintenance for a home is just as important as it is for a car or any other item of value in the interests of longevity. We are so proud of how your project turned out that it would be a crying shame to allow any blemish no matter how small to take hold!

They were great! They came in on time and on budget and dealt with any issues that came up very promptly and efficiently and to everyone’s satisfaction! I was incredibly happy with quality of products and workmanship. Their work ethic is relentless; I don’t know where they get the time to sleep. They are fabulous and really good to work with. I have nothing but rave reviews for them and the work they have done. Anyone, who gets the opportunity to work with them, will be very happy so I am glad to offer my experience and feedback and be a part of making someone else happy.

The pleasure was entirely ours. You and Derek really came up with an inspiring design so it was just as much fun for us as it was for you. Thanks again and we'll see you next year for that basement!
