I called Rick Appliance Repair after another repair service checked and didn't think there was a problem. Rick came in the timeframe noted, was friendly, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable! He was able to complete the control board repair quickly. He made sure the fridge was running properly and explained routine maintenance that will help keep it running well. I feel confident in the repair and have peace of mind. I won't be calling anyone else! So glad I called Rick Appliance Repair.

Dryer making noises. Sent in a request and was called within the hour to schedule an appointment. Came prepared with the part as he has experienced the same type of dryer doing the same thing. Thanks.

I called Rick on a Friday and he was able to come on Monday to install my new dishwasher. He called to let me know when he was on his way and he arrived on time. He carefully disconnected and removed the old dishwasher and placed it outside where i requested.

The install went very smoothly. Rick is a very pleasant man who was happy to answer any questions i had and the job was done quickly and perfectly. I have run the dishwasher ( kitchenaid 354ESS) a few times and i am totally satisfied. Rick also fixed a loose handle on my kitchenaid fridge that we were unable to tighten. He quickly saw the problem and fixed it at no charge.

Rick repaired our fridge last week. I found him to be very professional, arrived on time. Was knowledgeable and courteous. Would recommend him highly and will call him for sure for any appliance repair.

My (very old) washer stopped working in mid-load. Rick came out and was familiar with common problems with this brand. He picked up a part and came back the next day and was able to get it up & running. He also showed me his part price online. Plus my dog really liked him! I was very happy with his service.

Rick was great! We have asked for his help several times now and each time Rick was very quick, polite, and very knowledgable. He gave us advice on if it would be better to repair our broken appliance or to buy a new one which I really appreciated. When our freezer stopped working this summer we called Rick Appliance Repair based upon Homestars reviews and ratings.

Rick promptly returned our call and was able to make himself available the same day after we expressed the urgency of the situation.

We found Rick to be very courteous and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and restored the freezer to its normal working order.

I called Rick in the morning about 9:00am and told him what happened with my fridge (died after a brownout the night before), he asked me to send the model of the fridge and address and told me the cost of the visit to check right away, he showed up about 2 hours after, checked the fridge and determined it was the main board which he had brought with him in a new sealed box, replaced and voila fridge working again.

All good and did not even have to throw anything out from the fridge, great service and quick, Rick is a very nice person too. Fully recommend it.

We've used Rick a number of times in the past; once for our refrigerator and a few trips to see what was up with our A/C unit. So when my wife noticed a discernible lack of cool air during the hottest week of the summer, we knew something was up. We called Rick and sent out his son Ravi who called before he was going to arrive (a service I love so we know when they are coming*). Ravi went to work quickly and saw the compressor wasn't functioning and replaced it. With the compressor working and the A/C running, Ravi soon realized the unit was out of freon (the unit is about 20 years old). Rick had suggested previously we might have an older unit and supplied Ravi with the appropriate freon. After filling unit up, he turned it back on but there was another problem: something was up with the coil.
Seeing that this was going to cost close to what a new unit would cost, Ravi gave us options and we decided to stop trying to fix and start trying to find something new. To help with the costs (which were closer to $500) Ravi took back the new compressor and drained the freon and charged us a third of what it should have costed! Plus, he offered the services of his brother who runs an A/C and HVAC installation business.
