I tried one of the "other guys" to have my Dad's BBQ repaired for his birthday, and had to send them home after they gave me their estimate. They were trying to over-charge me for putting in new parts that were not even specific to the brand or model of my Dad's BBQ, that I had seen in the local hardware store for less than they were telling me! I only know this because I had gone looking earlier that week thinking I would just do it myself, but after talking to the rep at the store had decided I should just leave it to the professionals.
So I did a little digging around and called up a few other companies.
After providing them with the model and serial number of my Dad's BBQ, The BBQ Guys rep I spoke to told me that they work directly with manufacturers so I could rest assured that I would be getting the right parts that were made specifically for my grill, and at the best price.
They called me back a few days later and informed me that they had managed to get brand new replacement burners UNDER WARRANTY!! All I had to pay for was the service call required for the technician to come install the part, which he did the next day.
My mom and I were blown away with the professionalism and commitment of this company to not only meet our demands, but exceed our expectations. The technician answered all of our questions patiently, explaining what he was doing as he did it, and showed me what had caused the problem. He recommended a yearly clean but said that we had done a great job keeping the grills clean and should probably hold off until we had used it a few more times and it was really dirty, especially now that it had new burners and strong even heat!
