My husband and I are so happy that we chose M.E. Contracting to install our backyard pool! We were so impressed with how quickly they completed the project and we are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful result. Daryl and the whole team are a pleasure to work with, and made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. We can’t say enough good things about this company and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Steve and his team did a great job on our backyard reno. We tore out an old concrete patio and stairs, and put in a beautiful brick patio with space for a garden.

A friend recommended ME Contracting to us and we researched them online along with other Toronto contractors. We started the process of designing our front yard with Daryl in October 2016 and work began at the end of May 2017. The work went very smoothly initially with Biwar and his excellent team. There was a small slowdown because not enough bricks were delivered which meant that the worksite was left empty for a few days. In the interim, the city got involved and a stop work order was issued, in order to provide tree protection. This meant a 12 week delay to wait for the permit. Daryl, Biwar and his team returned at the end of September and finished the work quickly and professionally. We are thrilled with the result but in December 2017, we are still waiting for the return of the $5,300 security deposit we were required to pay as a result of the permit issue. My advice would be to ensure that all permits are in order.

We were recently doing some work to our house and we used ME Contracting to do some pot lights and other lighting on our backyard. This team was very professional. They gave us one of the lowest prices compare to the competitors and when the time came around to do the actual job they were neat, careful and real pros in their field. WE are very happy with their services.

We contacted ME Contracting to install a complicated deck that included a sliding door conversion from a window, and built-in lights. Steve and the crew were great. We really love our deck.

It took us a very long time to make a decision on replacing our decrepit pressure treated deck because we knew that if we are doing it, replacing this 25-year-old deck, we got to do something great that we will enjoy thoroughly. So, we have nothing but praise for m.e. contracting, for Ethan, Keren and the team for a job well done on our deck. The results are amazing, and we love our new deck.

It was not an easy journey trying to find a company to do a major reno of my backyard. Before we decided to hire M.E. contracting, we had meetings with quite a few contractors including Daryl the project manager of M.E. Now the project has been completed and we couldn’t be more convinced that we chose the right people. It has been a great pleasure to work with Daryl, Biwar and his construction team. Daryl came to every meeting on time, well-prepared, listened carefully to our requests and concerns. Daryl is articulate, experienced, and very personable with professional demeanor. He perfectly transformed what we wanted to the drawing. His design is simple, modern and artistic with characters. When it came to construction, it took Biwar’s team (10 or more guys) only a week to complete the major part of the project. Everything was so well-organized and coordinated from pre-work, material delivery to construction with no wait time in between. The job site was cleaned every day before guys left. During the construction, Daryl worked closely with us to tweak the plan and made adjustment accordingly. My neighbor who had been very concerned about their air con and stucco got damaged said to me after the construction, “They did a good job. Your backyard looks nice”. Overall we’re very pleased with the whole experience and the end result.

This past summer my wife and I wanted to “renovate” our backyard so we began a search on Homestars for potential contractors. In our search, we came across ME Contracting and after seeing some photos of completed projects and reading some reviews, we decided to visit their showroom. It was there that we were introduced to Daryl who walked us through the various options for styles, designs and materials for decking, outdoor kitchens, landscaping, lighting, etc. It was obvious he was extremely knowledgable and was answering our many questions in a genuine, educational and non sales-y way. We by no means felt obligated to move to the next step, however Daryl offered to come by the house within 48 hours for a no obligation consultation and provide us with a quote for the potential project. Even when he came by our house we again felt no pressure to move forward, but given the positive experience we had so far we asked for a formal quote. Upon receiving the quote, we decided it was reasonable for the size of project and decided to hire ME Contracting officially. We actually didn’t even bother to get any other quotes before proceeding because we knew we were in the best hands. From there the entire process was extremely smooth and the project was managed extremely well and completed on time as discussed. There was constant communication and check ins from both our Project Manager and the owners of the Company to ensure everything was going smoothly and to our satisfaction. The materials arrived on time, the trades were all on site according to schedule and were meticulous about their work. We felt extremely taken care of throughout the entire project and were beyond pleased with the end result. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional company to give your outdoor space a makeover, look no further. In fact, we will be starting another project with ME in the Spring to redo the outdoor space in front of our home. Thank you ME Contracting!
