Hidri Contracting

We hired Hidri Contracting to renovate the basement of our 60 year old house. The project involved completely demoing the existing, reframing, insulating and building new walls and ceiling, a new full bathroom, laundry room, stairway, patio doors, electrical and plumbing, etc. After interviewing 7 or 8 different contractors, we knew immediately that Ylber (owner) was the contractor we could trust. He is honest, dependable and highly skilled. His experience and professionalism are second to none. We really appreciated his input and advice as we had never taken on such a large project before. He helped us save money and explained why certain ideas would or wouldn't work. He addressed any issues or concerns we had immediately and was always very easy to reach by phone or text. We love our new basement and are so happy that we hired Hidri Contracting. We will continue to recommend him to our friends and family and hope to work with him again in the future.

Hidri Contracting did our kitchen backslash and it turned out absolutely beautiful! I am extremely happy with his work, he does everything to perfection. He is very patient and has a good eye for what will look good as a kitchen backspalsh. I 'm so glad that I took his advice on changing a bit the initial design of the backsplash - my kitchen looks so elegant now!

Renovating a whole house is a scary thought that many of us may have to go through but once you meet with Ylber Hidri things will fall pleasantly in to place. His natural warm personality, honest straight forward character made our decision a lot easier to confidently make. We can truthfully say that he took this house and truly made it into our home. One of our major concerns was that the house was built in 1952 and that the unforeseen problems that would be discovered only when renovations would begin would be either hidden or just patched up.  Ylber made sure to always communicate such findings and allow us to make the decision for what we could immediately repair and what could essentially wait to be repaired in the future for our benefit. His professional opinion made the decision and process much easier and less stressful on our family. His entire team were always pleasant and very knowledgeable and committed in what they were doing. Our whole house was transformed into a home that we are enjoying each and every day with our young kids. We feel as though we have not only met an informed professional but made a friend along in the process. Dealing with the contractor and the workers were very satisfying. They were punctual, pleasant and communication between us were excellent. The renovation on the Kitchen finished within the time line with no difficulty. This company is highly recommended.

We were referred to Hidri Contracting by a friend who had work done with them. We had 4 quotes from companies and Yilber stood out from the others. His quote was fair and he was very on top of following up to get details and information to provide the most accurate quote, with ideas for smaller details. He was very detail oriented and a pleasure to work with. His pricing was all laid out in front of you and any changes were 1 on 1 discussed on signed by both to ensure accuracy. He was very good on his timelines and he was accessible at all hours to discuss the ongoing project.

Ylber Hidri did an excellent job of renovating our basement bathroom and replacing the furnace room floor tiles. After trying many contractors , I became to know ylber, I used his service to do some interior changes in my home, brick wall, base board , flooring and doors, he was friendly , professional, honest, always on time ,and the most that he gives the right advise when it comes to materials used for renovation , for sure I would use his service again and recommend him to friends & relatives

We needed our basement renovated due to water damage that had caused black mold to grow in our downstairs living room.
After we completed the mold cleanup, we were left with a bare slate so we got a few quotes to revamp the front room, hall, and back bedroom. We wanted to update it - we had very old wood-look panelling in mis-matched patterns. Hidri contracting gave a decent quote to finish it. We then noticed we had another problem with the basement washroom. The shower was leaking and caused more water damage in the adjoining kitchen. Again we had black mold growing. We asked Hidri Contracting to adjust their quote to include the bathroom. They fully understood our dilemma and gave a very fair price to include it. What I love most about Hidri Contracting is their attention to detail and ability to adjust the plan to accommodate surprises. They found we still had a water issue under the front of the house and made the proper repairs by digging and adding weeping tile to connect to the existing one. They updated our electrical and plumbing to code and did a very professional job. He also made several suggestions and recommendations which contributed to our plans and we felt that this added to make this renovation look better. He was always there to please us and we would recommend him to other people.
