Williams/Rocco and the whole Premiere team did an amazing job with our family room renovation!! They always arrived as promised and were able to address our numerous queries/concerns with professionalism and expertise, from the initial design phase to the actual installation. The project was completed on time, on budget and with good attention to detail. I would highly recommend Premiere....thanks for transforming our 1990's time capsule into a real showpiece !!

It's unfortunate that my experience was not as great as others. I found Premiere on Home Stars and was excited about the great reviews. There were lots of positive things in working with them, unfortunately a few things didn't seem to pan out well which warranted a lower score. I'll share both the good and the, well, not so good.

The team is very personable - Williams, Rocco and Nicole. Great to work with. They finished my project on time as they committed to do - another real plus. I ordered two custom closets, two vanities and two cabinets for bathrooms.

One of my bathrooms turned out great, however, the issue was with my master bathroom vanity. First it wasn't designed to the specification I signed off on. No big deal, I know they would fix it - which they did and quickly - but the issue was the stain wasn't what I signed off on and didn't match my other bathroom and the walnut veneer now wasn't nice (the first one was though). They probably only sourced enough veneer to do my vanity and when they had to rebuild they didn't have time to resource it and turn it around quickly so they used what they had. I wasn't happy with the stain or veneer so I contacted them.

Williams did agree to correct it. This is good. Mistakes happen, but it's how you deal with them that counts. They asked me to come and select the veneer. However, the choices they gave me weren't much better than what I had so while the stain now was correct, the veener wasn't. I wasn't going to have them change it again and I didn't bother to ask. When they installed the new veneer, they also brought new veneer doors for the other cabinet in my master bathroom. I didn't ask for new doors, I loved the veneer I had, I simply asked it to be restained. So they had to go back and take the old doors to restain them and bring them back.

When they did bring them back, the edges looked damaged and it didn't appear that the doors were restained - if they were the edges wouldn't have looked like that. I was told that the doors were restained but that doesn't seem possible - so I sent it back. While they were always willing to fix the issue, for a consumer it's exhausting. I just want the job done right because it's disruptive to have to keep coming back. They brought the doors back, but there are still issues with the edges, they are rough and to me just look like they were sanded quickly. It still does not appear that the doors were restained because I can see that the colour doesn't match the vanity. Also, one of the drawers wasn't opening properly on my vanity. The installer corrected it and I tested it before he left and it was all good. What I didn't check, was that the other drawers that used to open fine still do. That evening I went to open a drawer and it didn't open (it used to). So in fixing one drawer, unfortuntaely, the other one doesn't work and the spacing between the drawers look uneven (I have a handless design). Also, one of the installers broke the horizontal stablizer in the other cabinet drawer. They advised that I don't need it, however when I called Blum they said for a drawer of that size I do need it.

I called them and they said they will come back. So far I haven't had anyone contact me to reschedule the visit. I am confidnet they will come back but again, I'd rather it just be done right (as I'm sure they do to since this is a cost to them as well).

Lastly, and just some minor things, the interior of my closets weren't cleaned off from the pencil markings where the rods were hung, etc. I had to ask them to do it on site. And I also noticed they must have drilled one rod in the wrong spot and moved it as there is a hole below the rod, etc. So these last items are just little things, but to me 10 out of 10 means a perfect job.

It's unfortunate it wasn't as great as I had hoped, but they were nice people to work with.

UPDATE: I originally posted them with a score of 7 but have down graded it to a 5. While I thought they would return to fix my drawer that won't open and to replace the horizontal stablizer that their installer broke in my bathroom vanity, they did not. I emailed them to follow up with them and they didn't even respond. So at this point I'll just bring someone else in to correct the problems. So I'm out of pocket now as a result. Too bad. Anyway wanted to share that info with you.

Rocco and his team did an amazing job removing our old brick fireplace and mantel and installing a beautiful gas fireplace and adjoining shelving. His team were always punctual and managed to get the work done on time and to a very high quality. It was a pleasure dealing with Rocco who oversaw every detail and always delivered. I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you!

The premiere crew completed the work in an on time on budget, quality manners. The response to design change was exceptional and their expertise helped avoid additional detail problems.

In short, thanks very much to Williams and his team. According to my wife, the new fireplace mantel that Williams and Premiere Custom Millwork & Fireplace completed "TRANSFORMED" our living room and home. Not only was the work and craftsmanship great, William's professionalism, customer-focus, and approach was fantastic!!! We would definitely call upon them again for future initiatives/projects.

I’ve recently dealt with Premiere Custom Millwork and Fireplaces to remove a wood burning fireplace and replace with a gas insert. The project included removing the old brick and building an entire new built in mantel, shelves on the side and cupboards flanking the fireplace. Initially I spoke with Williams, then I met with Rocco and indicated what my needs were and the overall experience was very professional, explaining what could be done, the timeframe and putting to rest my main concern which was the removal of the bricks, having heard may stories of damage done. I was highly pleased with the completed job, it was obvious the company workers were skilled and specialized in this type of work. The entire built in was completed and we reviewed this at the company prior to installation, and saw what an amazing quality of work the finished product was. The built ins were delivered and inserted with the new fireplace and the entire finish exceeded my expectations for style and elegance. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism, quality of work and a great overall positive experience. I would certainly return for anything of a similar nature and have recommended them to family and friends. I am enjoying my new fireplace and thank you to the entire team.

We recently downsized from a big home to a condo and needed to install additional
cabinetry. We contacted several companies to set an appointment for appraisals and
estimates at which time we had the pleasure of meeting with Williams of Premiere Custom Millwork & Fireplaces Ltd. Williams was very patient and listened to our
plans to customize cabinetry to accommodate our needs for additional storage.
We needed a custom made wall to wall floor to ceiling unit in our dining area, additional
cupboards and corner unit in our kitchen, extended cabinets above the desk in the den and two oversized cabinets to replace the existing small shelving above the toilets in the bathrooms. Nicole, the designer was most specific and accurate with the dimensions that at the time of installation there was no need to cut and fit any part of the cabinets, everything just fit into place. Prior to installation we attended at the shop to observe and check on our cabinets at which time we picked handles and glass for the unit. Williams was always patient with us never once making us feel that we were taking up his time or feeling rushed. On the date of delivery and installation four installers arrived at the arranged time and began work immediately. The cabinets were completed within 2 business days. The installers were very friendly and worked with the utmost professionalism and excellent workmanship. The work was completed on time and within the budget we agreed upon. The premises were left in a clean and orderly condition.

After researching the kitchen renovation market place we opted to go with Premiere Custom Millwork & Fireplaces. We first met with Williams to go over our scope of work which was an entire replacement/upgrade of our current kitchen cabinets and counters. We live in a small bungalow and needed a custom kitchen to maximize our kitchen cabinets space and counter area. Premiere designed a kitchen with an island that gave us additional cabinet and counter space. The project required working with a house renovation general contractor and also include two new custom bathroom vanities to go in the planned bathroom renovations. All the work was done with exceptional quality and workmanship. Williams team worked very well with our general contractor.
