Foam It Spray Foam And Blown In Insulation

Initially, I booked this company to spray foam insulation in my attic so that I could apply for the Enbridge Smart Savings program. I met Muhammad (the owner) a while back at the HomeShow in Toronto, and I was highly interested in his product--it was innovative, much cleaner than conventional methods, and effective. All he did was educate others without any sales pressure. When I was ready to complete the retrofits for my home, I gave Muhammad a call and he remembered me right away even though it was over a year ago when we first met, and we instantly became friends. He was kind, genuine, and all-round an honest person. He was very flexible with the scheduling, and we were always in constant communication if there were any unavoidable issues. His team came over promptly at the set time, they were very clean and respectful when working in the home. Extremely efficient and also gave me the best price possible on the best product, which felt too good to be true! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to add any type of insulation to their home. After assessing a few companies to get a quote on our project, we settled on FOAM-IT for many reasons. It started with Jeremy providing his expertise with his suggestions and recommendations. He was honest and flexible. We never got the feeling that he was going to charge extra, or surprise us with additional costs. Judging by how thorough he was made us even more comfortable. Jeremy was able to visualize and dictate where and how much foam was going to be used. Being able to visualize how he would tackle problem areas brought a lot of value.

Mohammed showed up and did an exceptional job. He foamed between the rafters and at the peak of the ceiling thoroughly. We definitely got more than 5 inches :) At the corner of where the rafters meet with the exterior walls, he stuffed it with Batt Insulation and then foamed over it. I did not actually see the spraying process but I imagine it would be hard to spray and keep the gun fixated and contained within the areas of work. Mohammed's work had little to no run offs and it was meticulous.

Our house is older and building standards were very different back then. There was an area where cold air was coming in, and heat was escaping at the front of the house where it over hang from the rest of the foundation. At the time of when Jeremy quoted us, we were not aware of this. When I mentioned it to Mohammed, he just threw it in as part of the scope. I was very shocked at how much foam he put there as a 'by the way'.

The roof is like one solid piece now and the house is so warm. On top of all this, he was very clean and swept up after leaving the place prepped and ready for my other contractors.

It was a pleasure chatting with him as well as he was very personable. Strangely enough, we touch on any possible subject that you can think of.

Muhammed was very knowledgeable and had a number of good suggestions especially given our odd attic space layout. The crew arrived promptly when expected, were very polite, the job was done very nicely in a short amount of time, and they did a really good clean up afterwards which was very much appreciated. I contacted Mo and his team after being referred to him through a friend. Without going into the details the price was set, the date was confirmed, and his skilled team came in and insulated the underside of my porch within an hour. It was the worth the wait and now the inside of the enclosed porch is already feeling warmer and I cannot wait to have a usable part of my house back! We hired Foam It to do the insulation of an office addition/renovation at a private school. They were able to accomodate our tight schedule and did a great job.
