Help! My kitchen sink fell out of granite countertop!

I had to wait a few days for AB Granito to be able to send a service person, but it was well worth the wait! From start to finish, I found Meera (customer service) pleasant and professional with great follow-through. Carlos went above and beyond in order to keep our appointment. He was polite, worked quickly, explained the problem, and how he was going to repair it (my sink fell out of the granite countertop - installing company now out of business). He had us look at the finished work, and cleaned up before he left. I would highly recommend this company if one has a need of services they provide.

Good Company ….until you have a problem

AB Granito was chosen to renovate our kitchen - new counter top, sink, and plumbing work. Within months the sink leaked, soaking the area and pooling water on our new kitchen floor. A plumber was sent out, tried to fix the problem. Months later it leaked again. The plumber returned, told us he pointed out to the company that the pipes he used were likely not suitable for the job, tried to fix it using duct tape around a joint. Just before the sink leaked again ( third time ). After 6 emails to the Manager , he is steadfastly refusing to rectify the problem. He says we are out of the warranty time. He is supporting sub standard work and showing complete disregard for us as customers. In good faith we trusted this company to live up to their reputation and they have let us down.

As mentioned in the email correspondence you have had with the manager, your job was completed in April of 2019, which is almost 2 years ago. The warranty that is offered on labor for the plumbing we are responsible for is valid for 1 year, and comes directly from the licensed plumbers we use. Also, as mentioned in the same correspondence, we can not determine when the duct tape was placed on the pipe, or if that is undoubtedly the reason you have a small drip occurring now. We advise that you contact your plumber for a quick service call to fix this issue.

Unfortunately, we can not offer any warranty on the original piping in the house, which is what your sink was connected to. It looks like the original elbow trap, which was not replaced by our plumber, is what we believe is causing the leaking.

We are very sorry to hear that you are having issues with flooding on your main floor and that it could possibly be connected to the plumbing that was done through our licensed plumber. We would have been very willing to help and take care of this issue, either through our company’s or our contractor’s insurance. However, we do not have a record of this issue being mentioned in any previous email correspondence with you. If you have any record of emails regarding this issue, please send them to us.

Granite Floor Restoration

Our granite tiled floors after years of use had a hazy or cloudy appearance and some staining. Our many attempts and lots of effort and time spent to clean the floor were with little success. In fact we did not believe that the floors could ever be cleaned. In our attempts to resolve our problem we were advised to call Ruben at AB Granito.
Ruben thought that they may be able to do something but with no promises and gave us a quote.
Well, his crew arrived spent time evaluating different procedures that could be used and then got to work.
WOW!
It is unbelievable our floors look like new and shine like a mirror.
Their staff were exceptional and worked diligently to insure that their
work was perfect. They also gave advice on best way to maintain granite floors.
I would recommend them anytime,

Renovation and servicing

Renovation Cleaning review in Calgary

The company was fast and efficient. They completed the job as they said they would and did everything in the time they said they would. They were tidy and always cleaned up after themselves. I am satisfied with the work and I would recommend them for other jobs. One piece of counter did shift and when I called them back to repair it, the repair was done to perfection promptly! Very pleased with the service and the quality of the workmanship.

Marble, granite and slate restoration

Work was done on a timely basis and was as described in the estimate. The technicians were very polite, helpful and respectful. The manager attended personally to inspect the work. They answered all my questions and provided follow up information for care of the surfaces going forward.

Granite cleaning and sealing

fix chip on edge of Caesar Stone counter
