ProRise Painting and Gutters

Recently had my master and guest bedrooms repainted by Prorise Painting. Just wanted to write this review as a thank-you to Joseph and his crew for all the hard work they put into my project. The end result looks amazing, and all the prepwork (sanding, filling, caulking) made a huge difference and the walls look brand new. I've already recommended Prorise to family and will continue to tell people about them. Thanks!

My house is an older house that was in need of exterior painting and a few exterior repairs. After looking on HomeStars, reading various company reviews and receiving several quotes, I finally chose Prorise Painting. On meeting with Joseph Halfar, I was confident he would provide the detailed, meticulous service I wanted. Joseph and his crew worked hard to complete the numerous demands that the job required. When I was having difficulty deciding on colours, Joseph provided complimentary colour consultation with Irene Fraser - Design Happens, which was very helpful to me. I am extremely happy about the colours used on the house, especially the dark brown colour on the front and back stairs and railing. Throughout the entire job, I always found Joseph extremely patient, approachable, and receptive to all of my concerns. Although along the way some miscommunications occurred between Joseph and his workers and Joseph and me, in the end Joseph rectified all issues satisfactorily. I am extremely happy with the repairs and painting that Prorise Painting carried out. They even painted the window sills, which were not included in the contract, at no extra cost. With Joseph's attention to detail and eagerness to please, he himself completed follow up painting of my porch on certain areas that needed attending to. I feel confident that should any problems regarding this job arise in the future, Joseph will deal with them promptly and effectively. Without hesitation I recommend Prorise Painting to anyone who is looking for quality, professional work.

I was very pleased with the renovations that you did in my rental unit. It had been rented brand new and you definitely restored it to its original condition with regard to the newly painted and touched up walls. The bathroom tubs and tiled walls also looked as good as new, with the caulking replaced, and the ceiling fans were also thoroughly cleaned. You went beyond expectations by replacing burnt out light bulbs and the broken door latch left by the previous tenant.

Several of our friends have used Prorise Painting throughout the last year. We were given a written estimate and this estimate matched the final cost (unless unforeseen repairs were needed). All staff at Prorise communicate frequently and clearly regarding arrival and departure time, number of days needed, who is responsible for what, how to contact them, etc. The quality of work is exceptional, Joseph the owner always check in to make sure we're happy with the work and he will correct any imperfections. They have had such depth of experience that no home painting project is too daunting. Their suggestions work. Prorise Painting is a great company to work with. All the rooms in our house look fantastic after the repaints and we couldn’t be happier with the look.

I contacted several other painting companies that I found on HomeStars.com, none of the contractors called me back within a reasonable amount of time. However, Joseph contacted me within hours of contacting him and came to my place and provided a fair quote. The painting crew were punctual, neat, quiet, and very professional. I had them paint my bedroom and they were very careful with everything in my house. Now my bedroom looks amazing with the cleaning, sanding, caulking and painting done By Prorise Painters. My name is Matthew, I live in Port Moody and am on the 17th floor. I tried painting my one bedroom condo myself and made a big mess. I found an online ad, Joseph gave me quote, I went with it and my place is completely transformed. It looks awesome! All work was done within one day, the painters paid extreme attention to detail with no spots missed. Joseph agreed to return until I was 100% satisfied.

Joe and his team were great to work with. They worked long hard hours and were always concerned in doing a great job and getting everything the way I wanted it. Everything that was promised was delivered and more. I’ll have them back anytime and will recommend to anyone who asks. They are a top quality paint company that’s definitely worth the money. My experience with Prorise was the best painting job I’ve had done so I decided to write this review so I could show my appreciation for the work they did. All the scrapes and holes in the drywall were professionally filled and sanded before they painted and it made a huge difference. I hired Home Painters based on the high reviews I read on HomeStars and I wasn't disappointed. I had to get my entry way, hallway and kitchen painted and it looks so good I’m considering getting the rest of my main floor painted now. Joseph's painters Tony and Paolo were very cooperative with all the renovations that were going on at my place and they worked on two different occasions to accommodate with the timeline of my other projects. We did run into an issue with one of the paint colors not turning out as expected, but they made up for it by getting the right paint and putting on two more coats to get it to what I wanted at no extra charge. On short notice Joseph made sure the job got done and I really appreciate the way the entire project turned out. Overall, I am thrilled with the colors we have now. I look forward to working with Joseph and the rest of Prorise Painting again in the future.
