Called Ali for a quote, told him details, confirmed price straight away. Others needed to come around and see the job, just don't have the time.
I added a couple of small requests whilst he was here, no issue.
Ali turned up at agreed time and once shown where everything was , he got on with it... quietly and professionally.... took about 6 hours and he kept me updated as necessary.
Left the work space clean and tidy.

I found Direct Electric on Homestars and Im so glad I did. Ali is easily the best electrician Ive ever used. Hes honest, professional, reasonable and very knowledgeable.

Ali changed over my fuse box to a breaker box, removed an existing outlet and wire we didnt want anymore and also changed a dimmer switch out for us. While he was changing the dimmer switch he noticed the previous electrician put the wrong box in our wall and changed that out for us as well cause it wasnt done right the first time.

He made time for us the very next morning (showed up 30 minutes early in fact) and resolved one faulty puck light installation that had been plaguing us for years. Now we can finally use it. Ali from Direct Electric did an amazing job changing my broken dining room chandelier, my main kitchen light, my deck light, and fixing multiple plugs that stopped working in my old East York home. He came the next day after I called him and arrived early and on time. Ali was extremely helpful and patient as a picked my light fixtures from the store. He even made a second trip to the store to return/replace a fixture that was faulty. He completed the whole job in one day even though it took much longer than was expected. Ali from Direct Electric installed a 240 volt outlet in my laundry room/basement and upgraded my electric panel. This was my first time using Direct Electric and I was in need of another electrician as my previous one was no longer available. Ali came the next day after I called him and did an incredibly thorough job assessing the situation and making the installation with minimal cuts to the drywall. He thoroughly explained his work, was extremely courteous and professional, and took the amount of time needed to do a complete and careful job. His work came in exactly at the estimate and he even offerred a discount at the end. I will be using Ali for all my future electrical needs and cannot praise him highly enough. We used Direct Electric to replace a light timer and repair some electrical outlets. Ali was very professional and even identified some problems with our connections of which we were unaware. We would not hesitate to recommend Direct for home electrical repairs and installations.
