Easy Bathroom Renovations

Bowerbird Renovations is an excellent company to work on your next home renovation. The three "gentlemen," and that's precisely how they were throughout from day one, were absolutely fabulous to work with. Andrei, Victor and Vlad from the time they stepped into our home, made us feel at ease with the project at hand. The quote, which by the way was very reasonable, was sent very quickly, especially since the project was very time sensitive prior to us moving into the home. The job was reviewed in-depth from the onset, with many recommendations from Victor and Andrei that we took very seriously. While planning out the design of the bathroom, Andrei and Victor were always at hand and ready to help if I had any questions while sourcing and purchasing materials. They had offered advice from where to purchase product to where to get great pricing, take advantage of discounts and source quality product. During the entire project, nothing went past unnoticed by them. If there was an issue to deal with they would bring it to our attention and resolve it, such as the leaky pipe that could have resulted in significant damage down the road, or the need for the walls, trim to be redone, such as the improvement of the unfinished ceiling in the powder room. They started and completed their job on time everyday and were committed to the project continuously. They took great care of the house and ensured the floors and carpets were protected. Their European methods and quality finishes are single to none other contractor. To us this meant that this one and only washroom in our home would certainly stand the test of time. About a couple of weeks had lapsed after the completion of the renovations, and the shower head required a minor adjustment. Victor was over in no time. We love the washroom. Its spells quality, first-class, finesse, perfection, commitment and forever. And this is precisely what Andre, Victor and Vlad have come to stand for us. I would not hesitate for a second to have them work on our next home renovation, nor recommend them to anyone else. We love Bowerbird Renovations!

Victor, Andrei and Vlad provided excellent service during the renovation of my only bathroom. During the initial meetings, they always showed up on time and this punctuality lasted throughout the project. All three were friendly and polite and they took care of the space to try to limit the dust to the rest of my home. As you can see from the "before and after" photos, it was a complete transformation of an old and dated bathroom into a fresh and clean new space. The project involved completely gutting the space and insulating for heat and sound before rebuilding the bathroom with new everything! As usual with older homes, there were a few issues that arose but they were solved neatly and cost effectively and within a reasonable time frame and they involved me with decision making. I am very pleased with the results and the attention to detail.

Let me start by saying that Bowebird Renovations are a great company of hard working and creative individuals. They were full of ideas for the outdated little kitchen that we ended up with after getting a new house. They suggested we open up a few walls to make the kitchen bigger and the whole first floor space more open - and so we did, and the results are spectacular! The work was done on time and within the agreed upon budget. Can't wait until the summer time to renovate the bathrooms with Bowerbird Renovations!

We asked Bowerbird to transform an old closet space in our master bedroom into a modern ensure. They also gave our main bathroom a facelift. We were very pleased by the renovation job that Bowerbird did for our basement. Andrei, Victor, and Vlad were highly professional, they worked hard, and they were a pleasure (and fun) to have around.

They aren't the cheapest – if you want Walmart quality, go elsewhere – but we felt we got excellent value. Their quality and workmanship is superb, and they came in exactly on budget and on time. For the few changes that we wanted, they charged very reasonably. And as unforeseen circumstances arose – they always do in old homes like ours – they had innovative, proactive solutions.

This is the second job Bowerbird has completed for us, the first being an attic Reno. Our home is an old Victorian so the bathroom was very small. Victor and Andrei provided a detailed estimate to redo the entire space, including moving the wall back to add 18" to the overall bathroom size. Once the work began and the floor came up, it was clean the electrical was in bad shape, and have the floor had no subfloor. The tub was essentially sitting on the floor beams. The plumbing was also a mess. Bowerbird cleaned up the entire mess, moved all the plumbing so we could reconfigure the tub without adding very much to the original estimate. They were on time and on budget, with the quality of the finished work outstanding. We will continue to go to them for any future projects.

We hired this father-son team to do a renovation of a kitchen and powder room in our downtown toronto home. They were great. They were very professional and friendly. They were also very accurate with their estimate, and gave paperwork with a break-down of all costs (and this was updated as the job went on). There were no surprises with respect to cost. Also, they had the job completed within the time frame that they gave at the beginning (which was important to us as I was 9 months pregnant at the time!). They worked long hours and for consecutive days until the job was done. And we were very happy with the final product. It looks fantastic. I would highly recommend them. My husband and I have hired Bowerbird Renovations for two consecutive years to complete two major renovations in our Toronto home.
