***CONSUMERS BEWARE*** I Hired this man to mount 2 televisions on the wall and connect a basic soundbar to each. The job was a basic non-complex installation. He quoted me on the phone $350-500 per TV set up but made sure I understood he charged by the hour and wouldn't be able to give me an exact total without seeing. Fair enough I thought. It took him 6 hours to install the mounting bracket on the wall and he had to come back for another 7 hours to hang the TV and soundbar. That's 13 hours to perform a basic installation on one (1) TV. I nearly choked when I saw what he was trying to charge me for the 1st TV install so there was no way I was using him for the 2nd TV!! I hired another company to install the 2nd TV which was a similar basic installation as the 1st. The guy had the entire job done in 2 hours and the cost was less than half of what David Audio was charging me. I am disgusted at the thought of how many other people this man is ripping off and taking advantage of! As his website claims he is a professional certified installer with over 12 years experience, he is either purposely overcharging people by padding his time (because he charges by the hour $) or he is overstating his qualifications and is actually incompetent and inexperienced. Either way, beware when hiring this company!!

I have two 5+ year old flat panel TV’s with A/V systems that had both stopped working and needed to be reconfigured and rebooted. I was also thinking about upgrading the universal remotes but unsure what my best options were. Because it was a relatively small job, I had a hard time finding a home A/V service with ready time available to book an appointment. When I found David and contacted him via Homestars, a brief phone call to agree on the scope of work and make an appointment was quick and easy. David arrived the next day, quickly assessed the situation and once we’d agreed on the solution, completed the work efficiently and in good time.

We had a problem with the sound bar working with the TV - David was easy to get ahold of and made room in his schedule. The work was professional and smartly done and he communicated the options. Well worth it to have the Job done this well.

The first was untangling (literally) 10 years of wire and cable accumulation as well as a full clean up and organization of our A/V system and the second was coming up with a creative way to solve an issue with our built in audio system. He rewired a corner of my restaurant to make sense of a mess of internet, Bell phone, wifi lights , security system and Speaker wiring to the amp box.

David is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to trouble shooting and solving complicated issues. Dave was the ultimate professional and re-wired and reprogramed two complete home theatre systems and Harmony remote controls in our home. He was able to take a complicated system and make it simple. Was looking on Google for a company that could address my Home Theatre needs. Had a system that worked, but not the way I wanted nor could be serviced when I needed it. Found, David Audio Video Installations in my search, read their advertisement and it caught 100% of my attention - exactly what I wanted. Called, an appointment was made and David arrived with his bags of tools and tricks. We had a discussion about my current system and what I felt it needed and what I wanted to see. David listened - an important thing in his business. He did not touch a thing but listened to what I was saying. Then summarized what he thought he heard and decided on a plan of action. He provided me with a quote on dollars and time and off he went to perform his magic. One of the things I wanted to see was a neater way of dealing with the presentati​o​​n of all the wires that provide the effects I wanted. he tidied that up as well. He went away, ordered some equipmen​​​​t and when it arrived, set a time and date for a return visit. Arrived on time went straight to work and Mr. Perfection as I was now calling him. After about two hours, everything was as we had discussed, work area all cleaned up and ready to p[rvide a test of his work for me. I was not disappointed. Following his installation visit, I found the need to discuss a couple​ of operational things and he was only too happy to do so via e-mail. I have only been up and ​running with ​the new structure a couple of weeks but am satisfied that I got good value for the money I spen​t . You too will not go wrong with not only having him listen to your ne​eds but also obtaining a quote. If you award him the job, sit back and let him do his thing. He is on time, within his budget and delivering what you told him you wanted to achieve. It's as simple as that with his service.
