After speaking with a few HVAC providers we decided on Max Aire to install a new furnace, a/c, humidifier and thermostat. Max carries great products and is very competitively priced. He is professional and friendly. He came when he said he would and completed the install in a timely manner. We've since required one service call for a technical issue with the smart thermostat. Max was here the next day and quickly resolved the problem. I would highly recommend Max Aire.

I had Aire Max and there team come assess my situation with my furnace and A/C as the system was getting old. I wanted to replace everrything with out breaking the bank.
Max came in and assessed my situation and gave a GREAT quote for all equiment needed. Seemed to be fair and honest. Went with him a received a quick and efficient install and great customer service!!

Reliance installed a new furnace for me in March with a new thermostat. Once it warmed up and I tried to use my air conditioner it wasn't working and Reliance didn't seem to know how to fix the problem. I called Max, who I've been using for many years, he came up that same day and fixed it in 5 minutes. Reliance had not programmed the new thermostat properly which caused issues with my air conditioner. I highly recommend using Max.

Max responded promptly to request. Willing to uninstall old and install new on different dates. Cleaned up property nicely. New unit running smoothly.

Max arrived on time and looked clean and professional.
He diagnosed, the problems I was having with my HVAC and made recommendations. His recommendations ranged from cost effective to costly. The gave me his opinion on all the options.
After some discussion we went with one of the options and he fixed the issues I was experiencing. It has been over a week now and the noise is gone and the leak is fixed.
I am very happy with his professionalism, service and advice.
I will be calling Aire Max Heating and Cooling for any future work I may need.

Technician came the same day and fixed the broke down air conditioning unit right away. Very nice person to deal with. Cost is reasonable as well.

Fact: We hired Max and his company Max Aire to replace our 20+ year old furnace and A/C.

Fact: Max represented that the unit we purchased (Lennox) came with a 10-year manufacturers parts warranty.
Fact: We paid more than $5000 for the unit.

Fact: The unit ceased operating well within the warranty period.
Fact: Lennox denied our warranty claim because Max failed to install the correct A-coil (he concealed from us that he did not install a Lennox A-coil but instead installed a lesser part that voided our warranty).

Fact: Max continued to top up our unit with refrigerant to make it functional but denied any responsibility for the failure/leaking of the unit.

Fact: Max blamed us for not maintaining the unit, notwithstanding that we had cleaned the unit annually.

Fact: Lennox verified that there was no requirement to carry out any formal maintenance to maintain their warranty. They further confirmed that the warranty was voided solely due to the actions of Max and Max Aire.

Fact: No fewer than two HVAC companies have assessed the a/c unit and determined that the A-coil had prematurely failed.

Fact: One HVAC company advised that Max used pipes that were too small for the size of the a/c condenser unit and this also contributed to the failure of the a/c.

Fact: Max used lines (that carry refrigerant) that were 5/8 diameter. The independent a/c expert advised that the lines were too small and that the size 3/4 diameter should have been used.
Fact: Max has repeatedly engaged in aggressive conduct often yelling at us when attending at our home.

Fact: Max has made racially insensitive comments while at our home.

Fact: Max contractually provided his personal warranty for labour and 10 years for parts but has failed to live up to his obligations.

Fact: We have given Max many opportunities to make this right be he refused to acknowledge his responsibility.

Fact: We have no option but to seek the assistance of the courts and to let others know about our experience with him.

FACT: Here is the proof that he did "work" for us.

- Punctual. In fact, came a day early
- Alerted me to some minor things I need to handle ongoing
- Continued satisfied Aire Max customer

Our old AC unit finally gave in. I called Aire Max. They were very responsive, provided me with a competitive quote, and followed through at every stage of the process. I'll be sure to use them for my future HVAC needs.

No heat this morning. Called Aire Max and was out to look at the furnace right after placing the call. Max diagnosed and left to get the part needed.
Back early afternoon. We now have heat!
We will definitely use this service again.
