I first met Bill a few years ago when my insurance company was pressuring me to make some electrical upgrades. He was open and honest and I decided not to do the work. Because I appreciated his honesty I called them when I needed to make many changes to support the building of a basement apartment. Ken was amazing...always accommodating and very professional. I would highly recommend them. Their prices are reasonable and they really go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right with a personal touch.

KnT did a very thorough, quick, and clean job rewiring our entire, 100-year old, house. The team is very professional and were able to accommodate our requests as the project advanced. We appreciated that they also did the patching work. We highly recommend this company.

Neat and tidy job, quick and finally I have an electrical outlet where I needed one.
I needed a light fixture installed in a dark hall where no light “has gone before”. I couldn’t get an electrician to commit, then one said ok but never got back to me.
On July 6th I went back to Homestars site and contacted KNT. I didn’t call them earlier because all their reviews were for MAJOR jobs. I spoke with Bill, then Tim and emailed pictures and a description of what I needed.
They clearly spelled out their fee structure so it wasn’t necessary to get an estimate as I had an idea of how long it should take.
NEXT DAY Tim called and said they can do my job tomorrow, Sunday, and I said fantastic, do it.
The knowledge, speed and efficiency of KNT electrician Ken was impressive to say the least. Ken did the new light and switch and then replaced 5 old dimmers (70’s style) to new Universal dimmers.
KNT has restored my faith. Thank you Tim, Bill and a special thanks to Ken for doing such a great job.

after a recent windstorm, our power was out and we had to get our mast repaired before hydro would reconnect- I called KNT, and even though they were extremely busy, they managed to be at my house within 3 hours- they were efficient, friendly and they charged exactly as quoted. I would recommend to anyone.

We discovered some residual knob and tube in our home that had been partially renovated and needed it out.

We picked KNT because of the good reviews, and their quote was very detailed and easy to understand. The communication was excellent, emails and phone calls returned promptly, all questions were answered.

Their team worked very hard, were friendly and respectful of our possessions and were able to finish the job quickly, with minimal disruption to the rest of the house. They also installed additional light fixtures and fan at our request.

KNT Electric just finished replacing the knob-and-tube wiring in our house, which turned 100 years-old in early 2018. Their impeccable professionalism was evident at every stage of the task: We were going to live in the house while work was ongoing, and were worried how it will proceed. So they invited us to see a house they were already working on. The cleanly and sparingly punctured holes on the lath walls, the carefully covered hardwood floors, and the punctuality of the team (who were on the site early in the morning—exactly as they said they would be) more than recommended them for the job. Tim and Danny’s initial inspection was meticulous, and so was the documentation of the assessment, which Tim sent us before starting the job, and updated at the end, taking into account only work done. He took careful stock of all possibilities, and proposed some cost-saving solutions for our particular situation. The team was also very considerate and accommodating: we had to interrupt work for almost a week, due to unrelated problems, and they did the necessary rescheduling. They were knowledgeable and ready to answer all our technical questions accessibly and in detail—Danny and Tim in particular. The company apparently makes every effort to enhance the qualifications of its employees. (Danny told me, that all members of the team are sent periodically to refresher courses, to keep up with innovations, and with changes of the codes.. Their team-spirit is also remarkable: They often consult each other, each contributing his own particular expertise to the task, and we felt that we can fully rely on their judgement and their work. )
