Pest Control Company

My neighbour and I had a serious mouse infestation for almost a year. We had 2 private companies come in prior to hiring SNAP Pest Control. The other companies charged more or less the same fee, but all they did was lay bait stations. There was no improvement whatsoever in the mouse situation. Then Joe Bruno showed up from SNAP, and spent several hours doing a thorough examination of my and my neighbour's houses; checking for possible openings where mice were coming in. He found several entrances, and showed us using tiny cameras how the mice were getting in. He patched up all the openings himself. He also laid a ton of very strong bait, more and more intense than either of the previous companies. After one visit from Joe, the mice were gone and have never come back. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Having visited both properties I could clearly see that the mice were running out of control. Droppings and the smell of mice were everywhere. It was obvious there were openings it just became a question of how many and where. I had never seen so many bait stations ( mice did not find them ) before and it was obvious that the previous 2 companies approach was to simply bait and run. In the end it became a foundation issue which required some parging cement and 3 hours of work. I went to the homes once, sealed up the homes for good and laid out bait where I knew the mice would find them. Simply did my job, that's all. Thanks for the business Heather

Raccoons in crawl space wreaking havoc

With a baby on the way, we were getting very concerned about the raccoons living in the crawl space under an extension in the rear of our house. We were procrastinating dealing with this for about 6 months because the problem was complex and not really pressing since we don't use our backyard very much. But we noticed that the little buggers had made quite a nest for themselves by destroying the insulation to the vent that warmed the extension. Not only were we not getting heat to the room but we were spewing hot air into their nest. Smart little critters.

Our HVAC repairman wouldn't fix the vent until the raccoon had been dealt with. We called a few companies and most of them couldn't promise to prevent the raccoons from returning after they removed them because of the specific issues going on with the plastic siding of the crawl space and other factors.

ENTER JOE BRUNO. Joe at Snap Pest Control is much more than just a wildlife removal service. He is also a smart handyman who knows how to solve problems.

Joe visited once for free to review the situation and together we strategized a permanent solution. He is a very nice guy, pleasant to deal with, and friendly. Creative. Via email we discussed how to deal with the problem and once we decided on a course of action he came back a few days later with all materials needed and handled the situation. He came on a cold day in the middle of the winter and worked for a few hours, all as promised. In the end he provided a very effective solution; the raccoons are gone and I don't believe there is any way for them to return. It is now 2 weeks later and today I entered the crawl space with my heating repairman and saw from the inside that the raccoons have not returned. Problem solved.

Joe is a good guy. Trustworthy and smart. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who has raccoons in a tricky, complicated spot of their home. Thanks Joe!

Sometimes you just gotta get down and dirty and solve a pest issue for once and for all. With a baby on the way my client needed a solution and fast. With some quick carpentry work and dremmel cutting tool the job was completed in no time. Glad I could be of help.Joe

Mouse in house

We called up Snap Pest Control because we'd seen a couple mice (or perhaps the same one) and wanted to nip a potential problem in the bud. Joe came out right away, showed us potential entry points, and blocked them up with wiring. He also laid down these black boxes containing poison, although on future inspection the mouse apparently weren't interested in them, and hadn't taken the bait. Joe came back to our house a couple weeks later, helped us block off another entry point we had identified (under the dishwasher...those mice are sneaky!), and we haven't seen a mouse since! Fingers crossed. We would certainly recommend Joe for his thoroughness and professionalism.

Every job is different and may require a call back. Sometimes the mice re route themselves and miss the stations altogether. In this case we had to remove the dishwasher to locate a hole and seal it for good. Note, the entry points outside were already sealed. It can take a few weeks for the mice to find the proper baits, that's all. Thanks Byron.Joe

Mouse Infestation

Joe was easy to work with and solved our mouse problem in less than 2 hours. Felt good knowing he would come back if by chance he missed something but he didn't need to. Speedy service and easy to get ahold of.

It was an interesting job in which a lone mouse was running around in the house for weeks. I placed 2 glue boards at the side of the stove and then went downstairs and removed the drop ceiling to find tons of droppings and an entry point. By the time we were done downstairs and came back up to the kitchen the mouse was already caught. Sometimes you have to just think like a mouse. Thanks for your business. Joe

Squirrels in the attic

Joe was very thorough with his investigation of our roof and finding the points of entry. He even came on a Saturday morning when weather prevented him from getting on the roof earlier. He was very knowledgeable and gave us advice on how to prevent the squirrels from coming back. I would definitely recommend him.

Mouse in the house

I called Joe at 8pm just after Boxing Day and he was at our house the next day. He went above and beyond by truly searching for the route mice were taking to get into our house (he looked inside and out, took photos, and explained to me how he could see evidence of mice beyond just droppings) and sealing up suspected entry points. He was calm, efficient and knowledgable. We had a similar problem about 3 years ago and called another company - they just came in and chucked poison blocks everywhere and pretty much just shrugged when I asked how they were getting in - and charged us way more! I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Joe to friends or family. Thanks!

This is not the first time I've ever heard of companies out there that just shrugged when asked about potential entry points. As an exterminator it is, and will always be, my job to actively look for entry points on each and every service. looking actively for openings is important in many ways because it ends the cycle. Remember that mice leave trace chemical signals around their entry points which act like an invitation to other mice, almost attracting them into a structure. These signals need to be eliminated and holes closed or the mice will return. I'm so happy to be of help here and thank you for your business.

Pest control -- mice

Joe was awesome! He was prompt, thorough, and patient in finding the source of our mouse problem. He came the same day I called him -- on a Sunday! -- and he scanned the entire house and took photos to identify the problem, and then returned a few days later to fix it. Two weeks later, he made a follow-up phone call to make sure we were mouse-free, and we were very happy to report that we were -- and still are.

Joe's excellent service came as a great relief after dealing with apathetic and ineffective service from Aetna.

I could see the problem the moment I knocked on your front door to assess the mouse problem. The issue required carpentry and was related to work which was conducted by a previous trade. In the end the opening was large enough for raccoons to enter, let alone mice. I'm truly happy that I closed this opening when I did because of the real potential for a much larger problem. Thank you for your business.Joe

Mouse Problem

We called Joe Bruno to investigate a mouse and some attic noises we had seen/heard. He was able to quickly come to our house, investigate where the mouse was coming from by visiting the basement, checking all doors and going into the attic. Afterwards, he spotted where the mouse's entry point and quickly resolved the issue! He's extremely thorough and meticulous. Thanks Joe for the pleasant service and giving us peace of mind again! Will definitely refer Joe to anyone needing pest control services.

Glad I could help. I spent hours investigating the mouse problem. I went on the roof, under the deck, into the attic, and basically checked everywhere. I was amazed at the over all tightness of the structure. Here I am sitting in your kitchen after hours of checking and rechecking and out of the corner of my eye I catch a glimpse of light by which the mice had entered. Thanks for the business.Joe

Lone Raccoon Removal and Entry Barrier

Joe of SNAP Pest Control was amazing!

I called him on a Monday morning at 7am and he called back within the hour. We had a lone ranger of a raccoon get into our basement via the crawlspace. He had managed to get himself stuck in the rafters of the basement ceiling.

Joe was by in the afternoon and after some poking and prodding, he got the large beast out, unharmed. He then boarded up the opening with some extra wood to close it up. He then provided some great advice and expertise of how to prevent things like this from happening again.

Joe is part of a lost breed of professional, efficient, kind contractors who do honest, good work. He's gone away with another happy client. Last but not least, he had the most reasonable price out of the four quotes I received.

I'll definitely be keeping his card in my files in case anyone ever needs help with rodents or pests.

Thanks Joe!

I couldn't believe it when I saw it but this raccoon was wedged in and not leaving. The raccoon found a way into the house that was both clever as well as unique. I carry a good assortment of tools and with the extra wood on site was able to seal off the opening for good. Thanks for the business.Joe

Lone Raccoon Removal and Entry Barrier

We had a raccoon who got into our unfinished basement through our crawl space under the house. Somehow it managed to wedge itself in the rafters of the basement. I called Joe at 7am on a Monday morning after we found it, and he called back just after 8am. He was here by 3pm and the raccoon was out in a half hour. Joe then stuck around to take a look and boarded up the entryway to the crawlspace. The raccoon was unharmed and Joe went away with another happy customer. He was efficient, polite, informative and full of great tips. Lastly, his price was better than all of the other companies I called. I recommend him for any of your raccoon removal needs.
