This would be one of the best in town. I called them due to malfunction of my garage opener. Details of the potential root causes were given on the phone as well as the corresponding prices. Professionals came before the appointment time next day and waited in the back lane. Met with Jeff and his colleague and had them exam the problem. The root cause was one of those mentioned online by them, without surprises. The old opener was not functional and I was offered for a new one with a fair price. After installation, Jeff walked me in person through all the work that they have done. I can feel that they have been proud of their professional work, which I was very satisfied with as well. They took care and paid attentions to the details of installation as well as related maintenance services on the other parts of the door. Sincerely appreciate for their quality of work and services. Highly recommend to anyone who needs services on their garage door in Calgary.

My garage door would not open all the way without me pushing it when it was very cold outside. This had gone on for over a year. One morning I pushed too hard and it would not work at all. I called the afternoon of Dec. 29, not really thinking I would get a real person during the holidays, but a real person answered!

I explained the situation and said that I had already checked to see if the chain had come off which it hadn't. I really appreciated that the person I spoke with (sorry I am not good with names) took the time to listen and that he asked questions. He gave me the best and worse case scenarios and was clear about what the technician would be checking for.

The technician came the next day, right on time. I wish I could remember his name because he was wonderful. Even though I said that he was welcome to leave his shoes on for the five steps it would take to go from my front door to the garage door, he said he preferred to take them off as that was just how he liked to do things. I thought this was a sign of his positive regard for his customers :)

After his thorough assessment of the door and opener he said that he could do a quick fix which might last a month or two, or do the job right and replace the entire unit. I thought it was nice that he provided me the options and explained things in a way I could understand.

I decided to have the unit replaced. He was very thorough with the installation and clean up. He also took the time to make sure that I knew how to operate the controls and understood everything I needed to know to be comfortable working it. I am very glad I called this company and would highly recommend them!

Neil was there to help me fix my garage door on a weekend when there was no one else to help. Seldom will you now find a Good Samaritan to help you. Stampede doors will now be on top of my list for garage door needs in the Calgary area!

Our garage door spring failed. I called them at 830am, we agreed a time of 11am, and at almost exactly 11am they showed up. The price was agreed in advance on the phone so there were no surprises. The workman was super friendly and trustworthy. This is the third time I have used them and I can see why they have such a high rating on HomeStars. Years ago I used a rogue trader who ripped me off big time for replacing a garage door spring ($700!!) but since finding Stampede my faith in honest excellent workmanship has been restored and I will use them every time. You should too.

We wanted an insulated garage door for our home as we found the bedrooms above the garage were getting cold. The guys from Stampede walked us through the various options. We also decide to replace our garage door opener as ours was original to the house. We got the Chamberlain Belt Drive Internet one. Great garage door opener.
The guys were professional, showed up when they said they would, and were in and out very quickly. Did great work. Very happy with the service provided and our new door.

My garage door cable had broken and couldn't open the door remotely. I called Stampede Overhead immediately and they were at my home the next day and on-time. Randy was very thorough explaining what happened and caused the break. The entire garage cabling had to be repaired. He completed the repair in 45 minutes. I would definitely recommend Stampede Overhead. Great service, great price.

Randy did a great job removing two old garage door openers and installing new ones. He was able to straighten a bent track and put back on a roller that was previously removed. Once the install was complete he programmed both controls and walked me through any issues I might encounter if it wasn't operating correctly. I would recommend Stampede for garage door opener replacements.

Neil and his guys are the best! One of the metal wires holding up my garage door came off so I wasn't able to close the door completely. I contacted Stampede Overhead thinking they won't be able to do anything for me until the next day but to my surprise, Neil told me Randy will contact me to come by and fix it for me. Randy called me within a couple of hours and showed up within 20 minutes as he promised. They got to work right a way and didn't talk much at first but once they finished the work, they were so friendly and even gave me some tips to keep my garage opener running smooth. They also tightened all the screws and greased parts that needed it, which I wasn't expecting. Thank you Neil and the Stampede Overhead crew!

Very satisfied with the product, installation and price.
There were some glitches in the job and they had to do some mods to get everything to fit right (my garage), and they ended up having to stay a couple hours longer. No complaints or change in price just friendly polite service until the job was done.
And then they patiently explained how everything worked before they left

The kids broke the chain on our garage door opener on Thursday night and we called Stampede Overhead doors Friday morning. We booked the appointment for 6pm on Monday and the two guys from Stampede (Mark and Neil) showed up 10min early (how often does that happen)? I was really impressed with these guys - they were very polite and I could tell immediately that they actually were trying to save us money on the repair. They presented the option to fix the old opener or go with a new belt driven model along with the corresponding prices. We decided to go with the new opener so the guys put it in and took all of the old parts away with them to recycle which was a nice service to receive. Overall the job went very smoothly, Mark and Neil were awesome to work with and the prices were great. It's obvious these guys take pride in there work and truly care about the customer which is quite refreshing in todays world. Oh, a couple of days later Neil contacted us to see how the opener was working...these guys know about good customer service too!
