Redford Electric

We used Redford Electric to install a number of Wemo light switches in our home. Their service was unexpectedly good. They were on time, polite, quick, and left absolutely no mess behind. I couldn't have been happier and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Redford Electric in the future.

I have had the electricians from Redford Electric come out several times to deal with our electrical needs. They can come out on short notice, are prompt and efficient. We've had radiators replaced, plugs moved, thermostats upgraded, and vastly different light fixtures swapped in and out. They are mindful to keeping any potential damage to a minimum.

Recent call had George out for a last minute electrical update in the midst of our chaotic kitchen reno. Came out, made an assessment, was out again soon after. Made quick work of a bunch of electrical that was exposed that would have stalled out our cabinet and tiler guys. They do good work, and for the price, and given how available they were despite our restrictive schedule, totally would have been happy if they charged me more. Worth it.

This is the fourth time we have worked with Redford Electric to complete electrical upgrades within our home. Robert is always our first and only call.
He, and his team, is prompt, courteous, respectful with our home and in communications, consistent, on point for budget. Robert has a keen attention to detail and communicated with me throughout the process to ensure placement and outcome of install would meet how we live in our home.

Robert and George installed the new wiring plus 5 new interconnected smoke/CO2 detectors plus 2 replacement, a new bath fan with switch, and a ceiling light fixture in the master bedroom. The finished work is so clean, one would think the fixtures had always been in place.

We had Robert install light fixtures in a condo that did not have any existing lights in the bedroom, LR, or DR. We also had some plugs moved and programmable thermostats installed. Robert was very easy to deal with and gave us prompt and professional service. He pays attention to all the small details of the job.

I've had Rob come by for several small electrical jobs including adding data lines and cabinet power hookups. On time, on price, what more can you ask for. He is our new go to guy for our renovation projects.

I came across some Knob and Tube during, a recent Reno, it was not expected. I saw the Redford Electric sign, contacted him and had an appraisal of the situation. Robert explained that it was quiet common for Knob and Tube to be left in the hard to get to areas like our 5 chandlers on the ceiling between our first and second floors. Not a big risk like in the attic (were we knew it was all conventional wiring.). So we set a date for taking all the Knob and tube our of service. Robert and George showed up or earlier then expected, worked as a team to resolve the issue and attended to some other anomalies with some other 3 way switches and dysfunctional lights and fan. Total time 1.5 days with very very little invasion of our existing walls. We expected a major dry wall inconvenience and mess for weeks which didn't happen. 12 4" circular holes were patched an ready for paint within a few days. Wow a big worry gone with little fuss and muss. Thanks again to Robert and George

Robert did an amazing job! I needed 3 hard wired smoke detectors in 3 bedrooms. He was able to fish the wires through the walls with no visual damage to the drywall. Looks great! Put in 4 bathroom fans and installed dimmers. Robert was punctual, reliable, reasonably priced and very pleasant. I would not hesitate in using his services again. Job well done you two!!!

Right from the start Robert was punctual. Provided us a quote that was right in the middle of all quotes received. Gave my wife and I lots of information and samples for how to decide on lighting choices for a full kitchen renovation. Was always on time and was able to show up on short notice.
