It was a smooth and very easy transaction working with John. My whole transaction was done via email including quote and measurements. I am especially impressed by their payment system via Paypal as it is definitely a plus for busy people like me who like to deal with things after business hours and online since that's the only time I am free. Their price is very competitivel and they did their job very quickly. Overall, I am very impress with FG Fencing and would definitely hire them back if I have other things that need to be done in the future.

We had a cedar fence installed for our backyard. I had contacted other companies before FG Fencing. The other comapnies either didn't reply me, they couldn't be bothered to come in (so they simply sent an e-mail with quotes) or they would set a date to come in but then called at the last minute to say they can't make it and they never bothered to reschedule after.

After having these experiences I was not expecting much but I called FG fencing. John set a day and time to come to our home to look at our property and help us. He actually came and was on time! He made suggestions for the job and by evening I had received from him a quote and contract complete with all the information I needed to move forward with the fence if I wanted to. I had a lot of questions leading up to my decision and he answered all of them with professionalism and promptness. The FG Fencing team came in to put in the posts and then the next day to finish the fence. They were always on time and they worked quickly.

The fence is beautiful. However, when I finally had the chance to check the site I found a large gap under one part of my fence (due to my property sloping downwards in the middle) which was unacceptable because I really needed the fence to be secure and the team had broken one of my outdoor outlet covers when working on the fence. I contacted John and he said he would take care of it. Soon after, someone had come to add boards to cover the gap and replace the outlet cover with no added expense to me.

I would not hesitate in recommending FG Fencing. I am so happy I went with FG Fencing because everything went so unbelievably smoothly. I had a great experience with this company and their excellent service!

We are very happy with our new cedar fence, this job entailed Approx 200' of fence 2 gates some 6x6 posts & 4x4 posts and removal of old wood and chain link fence. My hat is off to all, from initial contact with Sabrina from Home depot who started the ball rolling to John who came within 48hrs to estimate what I need and arranged for Mark and his crew to remove old fence and install all the new posts, after they started, it started to rain but they kept on plodding muddy boots and all, nobody complained and Mark kept me updated as the project went along and made sure it was being done for me as requested, they completed this work in about 4-5 hrs, amazing. This crew all worked well together. A few days later
Raheem & Najeep came and installed the fence, built the gates and all to perfection, a beautiful job well done from these 2 guys they took 2 days, they started early morn to dark and never stopped, kept me informed and would ask how I would like a certain thing done, and when I asked them to change something they would, all without any complaints. John you have a great crew good guys and all

ps..I had previously called another fence company for an estimate and talked to a guy who said he would be there the next day between 1-2 pm. I thought that was fast. I waited for him the next day but he didn't show up, since it was raining hard I thought well its because of rain but he never called, giving him the benefit of the doubt I called him and left message, still no call back, done this a couple more days and never heard from him again. Some business this was I lost a week because of this. But now I'am glad he never showed up..

When part of my backyard fence blew over in a wicked wind storm, I knew I had to start looking for someone to take down some of the still standing skeleton and put up a new privacy and sound barrier fence. I called a lot of companies for quotes, including FG Fencing. Their price was higher than some but less than others. But stories I’d read about the quality of their service tipped the scales in their favour.

John came to my house, gave me a quote and was very good about answering all my follow-up questions via both the phone and email. Mark and his crew arrived on the appointed day at the appointed time, did the work efficiently, cleaned up a substantial mess, came back the following day as promised and despite a steady drizzle, completed the job in a timely manner.

There was one hitch, which John actually turned into a positive, explaining my “10” rating. During the construction, the workers were using a chain saw, which they plugged into my one outside outlet. A few minutes later, one of the guys politely tapped on my door to tell me the power wasn’t working. So I plugged it into the nearest outlet inside – my stove – and they proceeded again.

A few minutes later, the saw stopped working and again I had to change to a different plug. What I didn’t know was that their equipment had blown two fuses in the stove and the box downstairs. Despite my best efforts to locate the problem, I couldn’t find any evidence that those fuses had died.

So I wrote John and asked him if the company would fix it, fearing I might have to hire someone at my own expense to trace the problem. In some of the best customer service I’ve ever received, John sent his own company electrician to my house the same day, and Lloyd was able to trace the trouble and fix it within 15 minutes at no additional charge.

That’s the extra mile (or kilometre) I’d heard about and while I’m happy with the fence, it was that last gesture that really made the experience memorable. Bravo to John and his crew. Customer service is too often just a slogan that’s not backed up by action for too many companies these days. He helped prove, to paraphrase the old cliché, “good fences make good neighbours – and in this case, a good company, too.”

John and his crew were extremely professional and very hard working. I have a rather large yard surrounded by trees and shrubs. FG Fencing removed the existing fence, while protecting the greenery (no small task). They gave me the fence I'd envisioned with exceptional finishes including great hardware. I highly recommend them. Thanks again John.

From the first day the guy came to give an estimate I knew I had the right company. The job was explained,estimate given and job done on time. The two workers who installed the fence were fantastic. Their work,politeness,clean up etc was 100%. I would recomment this company to all.
