Flik And Company Interiors No Longer In Business

There are many people who ordered either sofa or chairs....my partner and I are in the same boat. No Sofa, paid in full and nothing but a string of untruths.

I purchased a sofa from Flik in May (paid in full) and have still not received it 8 MONTHS LATER. Maybe if I post something here they will stop ignoring my calls. I am extremely disappointed by this entire experience - Stephan is a nice person and I love the products that he sells. I'm now out $1150 with nothing to show for it.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I purchased a couch from Flik and Company 8 weeks ago and today discovered it hadn't been built yet!!!!

Not once did Stephan call me to explain the situation or offer any alternatives.

Stephan is the least accesible store owner I have ever dealt with. Not only were my phone calls and e-mails left un-returned, he is rarely at his own store during the business hours listed on his website.

I am baffled that he is still in business.

Finally my home feels like my home...Stephan listened to my requests and needs and met them totally to my satisfaction...I feel like I never want to leave.. I had custom pieces created - they were delivered in a timely manner and were so amazing. I would highly reccomend the Interior design part of the business totally and Stephan as a friend. I am so proud to call my place a home and welcome others into it.

I purchased a custom table from this store which is in my hood. I am always looking to support the local boys and Flik is constantly featured in mags all across the sea and the store is ever changing. I bought a "Flik Blue" door table custom made and also some great chairs to go with it. Steven the owner is great - very helpful and great service. The shop is beautiful, I was in again today and saw some new sofa's etc that are all custom to them. I could furnish my whole house with Flik. Thanks for being so awesome.

Needed a small sink for bathroom reno. 8 year search ended at Flik. Thought customer service was dead and gone, but my faith is renewed. Great products, quality merchandise, strong business sense.

I Ordered a custom Piece from the Owner Stephan Howard. He gave me great service at first, until it took him 4 months to deliver on a piece that he said would take 2 weeks.untruth after unthruth is all I got for 3.5 months straight. Finally when I asked for the deposit I put down back (which was half, that I gave him upon order)and threatened him with small claims court did I receive my piece(a week later). Not only was that bad enough but the last time I went into to his store to talk to him about getting my piece he used profanities while yelling at me. Thats right yelling at me in the middle of the store and swearing at me as if I was annoying him. I was so upset and humiliated I left crying.This happened over a year ago and I have since heard similar stories people have had with this company and in particular Stephan Howard.I finally felt I had to say something somewhere and then this wonderful website HOMESTARS was recommended and I just had to speak my piece,this can't keep happening. I would NEVER on my worst enemy recommend this man for the job. I felt that the only thing I got from this experience that should have been an exciting one was headache and actual anxiety!!! He was horrible , full of empty promises and he banks on the fact that unfortunately he has a beautiful showroom that will keep people coming back regardless of his behaviour.I now have my custom piece that wasn't even done properly so I had to refinish the piece myself as I just wanted to be done with Flik and company and Stephan Howard for good. Be wary and don't go there.
