gardening plants, etc.

The plants selection are very limited. We end up getting some not so healthy looking plants for spring planting. The pots selection are poor as well. We like to see improvement with their huge show room and gardening section.

Kitchen fixtures

Watch for specials at Canadian Tire. They sometimes have very large discounts on National Brands, linke Danze. You can save a lot of money on nice looking, high quality fixtures.

Multiple projects

This store needs to learn the importance of customer service. The main problem is that they employ young adults who are not very concerned about their customers or their jobs. It's common to stand in long lineups to check out. Overall, it is a very frustrating experience. I only go there if there is something in the flyer that I need.

garden supplies

The prices are reasonable. When they are busy you can't find anyone. They need more staff and better training. They also need more cashiers to get us out the store faster.

gardening, bbq, electrical

although the store is well stocked, and the policy of teh company with regards to returns, exchanges is outstanding, the in store help is horrible. If I am not with my husband, I feel I am invisible. I ask for help, and I get the run around of people who are not from that "department", then the ones who are cannot help either, and find teh product in their computer but not on the shelf. I bought a bbq but never got the cover that goes with it, got a bike but not the basket, could not get tires becaues they do not take orders- you have to find them in stock or return till you do. The funniest thing evre, was 2 years ago on a Sat afternoon, when the cashier and hsi supervisor moved me back and forth between two cash registers that were malfunctioning, with a cart full of merchandise. I was beyond being upset, stuck around to see how long thsi sharade can last, after twnety minutes, even the supervisor's nerves began to crack. She offered me to take any plants I want, free, because it was the day they wee closing the outdoor center. And I did! I drove hime in a jungle, barely able to see the road from the bushes surounding me. I will be enjoying my garden full of trophy bushes and roses, for many years to come LOL!

Home Painting

We wanted to update our bedrooms with DIY painting, and we went to Canadian Tire to look for paint and get some ideas on colours. The associate there helped us choose our colours and even gave some great tips and areas of concern to keep in mind. Also, we were able to pick up the materials we needed to get the job done ourselves with the help of the associate. Very helpful and friendly.
