I got Alex and his team to install pot lights in my home and was so impressed with the results. It was quick, clean and very well done. They all provided me with great, professional advice not only for what they installed but with various other areas in my home. It was not rushed but rather done with courteous hard work and dedication. I would definitely recommend them to anybody as Alex and his team devoted a fantastic level of quality and service. Adolfo, Daneilla and Avi spent the day getting 14 potlights into my older bungalo just recently. The finished product looks great. All three woked as a team and got it done in a short timeline considering the task. If needed I would call on Adolfo and his team again to get further electrical work done in my house.

I live in Montreal but I own 2 homes in Toronto which I rent out to tentants. I needed to upgrade & change one of my panel from fuse to breaker and from 60 to 100amp. I was recommended Alex from Mapleleaf Electric from a real estate agent which is a great friend of mine. I called him up, and he came the next day which was convenient for me and gave me a quote. I wanted Alex to do this work, because it was clear to me that he is very experienced and cared about my interests. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable; three qualities that I find most important. Alex was absolutely meticulous and thorough, a real pro.

What a breath of fresh air
I got Alex and his crew to rewire my whole house, remove all the knobs and tubes and upgrade my panel from 60 to 100 amps. The price he quoted seemed reasonable and the work they did was impeccable.
They showed up on time and worked till 6pm every day. They cleaned everything every day before they left and made sure I had electricity and light at all time. They were very polite and provided great advise on where to put plugs and switches. They were very attentive to avoid any inconveniences. Based on the reviews on Homestars we called Mapleleaf Electric to have them check the aluminum wiring for insurance purposes. Alex explained the process on the phone and then came over for a free visit to test some outlets to see if updates were required or not. They were and he patiently answered our questions about aluminum wiring and assured us that as long as it was done correctly it was safe. Alex provided a phenomenal level of quality and service. This is coming from someone who has dealt with a lot (and many of them very bad) contractors from many trades. If you need electrical work, hire Mapleleaf. Simple as that. He was prompt, courteous, honest and hard working - he did the work as promised, on the promised price and accommodate a last-minute request to change the location of a switch. Extremely pleased, good to know there are still amazing contractors / trades people out there.
