DO NOT HIRE EMBO! Completely unprofessional. They came in (6 hours late, no phone call to notify me they would be late.) and sprayed my front entrance for wasps. I was told to wait 7 days and if the wasps weren't gone to call back and they would come back and spray again (no charge since they guaranteed their work for 6 months). They didn't get the job done the first time, So I called....4 days in a row....left 4 messages asking for a callback.....never got one. They took my money and run!

Summer 2015 in the Hamilton area was the worst I've seen for yellow jackets and by mid-August they were nesting everywhere. After seeing quite a few around my front door I stood still and watched for a bit. Within a minute, I spotted a steady stream of them landing at the top of the brick face and entering under the siding about 12 feet from ground level. I tried a can of wasp spray while standing on a ladder about 8 feet away. After a brief pause with a large swarm around the opening, they started landing and entering again. I tried again twice with the same outcome.
So I called EMBO and made an appointment for two days later. The service person was punctual, courteous and completed an application of powder within a few minutes. He explained that the powder was more effective than the spray I'd tried because the insects track it into the nest and poison the others. He also explained that a heavy rain too soon after the treatment could wash the powder away and a second application might be required.

It didn't rain and within two days, there were no more wasps returning to the opening. I called to say thanks.

NO GUARANTEE even though they say they do. Anthony was the first to come. Arrived late however called. Installed a one way door. Checked the attic. A few days later I noticed that my vent on the roof what broken/piece missing. This was a Secondary point of entry that I discovered. I called Anthony. He was to show on Tuesday ..received call he was not available and Luka was to come on Wednesday.. Luka did not show up on time. left a message that it was a trap to be removed and would be there the next day. Bad communication.. Luka showed up the next day with Anthony and late and no call to advise they would be late. I had bought a vent to replace the one the squirrels chewed up. It was not good and was told that I would have to replace all of my vents to critter proof vents. Called a roofing company and bought 8 new vents. $160 cost. Anthony had counted the vents to be changed. Anthony came on Saturday morning and arrived earlier than expected. The old vents removed and changed to new ones. June 29th send text messages to Anthony. I called on the 30th left a message and no reply. I sent an email to Embo June 30th eve advising the squirrels were still in the attic. The mother was out but the babies still inside. NO REPLY. I called a new wildlife removal company. They showed up on the 2nd. I was then advised that I did not need to change all of my vents/ Oh and by the way there were 10 and not 8. Anthony did not tell me there were two more vinyl vents. Squirrels can chew through these. The new company checked the roof video taped it and came down to show me the condition. The one way trap door was checked and was not opening properly therefore the baby squirrels could not open. I was also told that I did not need to buy new vents but rather a metal mesh cage could have been installed. In fact they used them to cover the 2 vents that were still vinyl. I was also told that we were lucky there were no dead squirrels in my attic. I had to put out another $515 dollars to have my attic checked, roof checked, two vents and bathroom exhaust piped covered. My advice to anyone: STAY AWAY FROM EMBO PEST CONTROL. Do your research on reputable, reliable companies.

These guys are a joke. They came in and sprayed my house for yellow jackets. They didn't get the job done right and now the insects are in my walls and ventilation system. When I called about the 6 month guarantee, they said that they can come out and spray the affected windows FOR A FEE! When I argued the fee the owner said "sue me" By the way when I told him about my autistic boy who is allergic to Yellow jackets and who like to play with the he ducts (he likes the air on his face - he told me it wasn't his problem and said I should move for the winter until the insects die. WHAT A GUY! This is definitely an instance where cheap is expensive. Message to you Gary I will see you in court but not for the 90 bucks - for all expenses realated to correcting the fact that you pushed these suckers deep into my home.
