Garry has been been my "go-to" electrician for over 10 years -- the latest job has been hooking up a hot tub. Garry and Justin always make sure they explain what needs to be done and that I'm comfortable with what they will be doing before the job starts. After the job, they walk me through everything and make sure I know the permit has been filed and what to expect from the city.

Recently purchased a new home that had an incorrect plug installed in the laundry room. Home town responded quickly and were able to come over right away and get the plug switched out. They also took a look at my electrical panel and recommended some (much needed) improvements. They took the time to explain everything that was going on and put no pressure on me to commit. I recently moved into a large home that was built with aluminum wiring when it was originally constructed. Our insurance company required copper tailing throughout the home and also required a certificate of inspection from the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) of Ontario when the work was completed.

In addition, the previous owner had done multiple things with the wiring which were not up to code and needed to be fixed.

I searched around with many companies in the area. I ended up choosing Home Town Electrical because they were very professional on the phone, they came to my home in the evening and took a thorough look at the home and provided me with a well priced estimate and also showed me everything that needed to be fixed and explained why it was not up to code.

During the time of the work, they explained and showed me everything they were doing, they treated the home as if it were their own home, and they were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I also got the certificate for the ESA so now I am fine with the Insurance company and even more important I feel safe in my home with the electrical now being updated.

I will be hiring them again to do other projects I have in mind and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.
