We had our 40 year old wavy interlock driveway removed and new asphalt driveway put in with french curbs in may 2019. We are very pleased with the result. Sal and his team were very professional and organized and with minimal disruption. Curbs were installed very staight and true. We have received many compliments from neighbours on the quality of the workmanship. It is a pleasure to now have a straight smooth driveway. We would recommend Sal and his company to anyone who wants a quality job at a competitive price.

Truly a work of art. Sal and team delivered above expectation in both the quality of work and well ahead of schedule during a very rainy spring season. They built an 800 sqft patio which exceeded expectations in every way. Also very helpful through the whole process providing expertise in the design of project plus ideas on future projects down the road. Very professional and very considerate of our budget.

Will definitely hire them again.

Please do not use this company! I had my driveway and walkway replaced last summer and less then 8 months later after spending 7000.00 making several unanswered emails, sending photos and making call they told me sorry about your luck its my fault. My walk way is scaling and it looks like its 10 years old . My curbs are concrete as is my walk way but the curbs are still perfect . They didn't even have the decency to return my calls and tell me I had to call them from a number they would recognize . PLESE DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY RIP YOU OFF TOO!!!!! if I could give less then one star I would

Driveway done at my home in August 2018 and seemed fine until the winter. The asphalt rose a few inches at the point where the driveway and garage floor meet just outside the door. I spoke with Sal the owner around mid-April and he asked me to monitor it until it warms up later in late May. It did subside, but not to an extent that helped with water flow when it rained. Some water keeps coming into the garage.
He inspected it on 05 06 2019 and says its fine, despite the water still coming in. We are not asking for a re-do of the driveway. He has refused to run any equipment to ensure that we are satisfied. Now claiming that both my wife and I have been abusive (completely false!) to him and his salesman Frank, saying that its a drain pipe, that we don't park our cars in the garage, thereby avoiding what should be a simple solution to a genuine concern from a bona-fide customer. He hung up the phone today, demanding that we don't call his number again. Unbelievably poor customer service! At $1200, I guess you get what you pay for!
A zero star is still being generous.
Never again and will never recommend this contractor.

Sal and his team came by to prepare our driveway for paving later in the season. We have a ton of clay and no base. They completed the base correctly, were on time, and very professional. Antoinette in the office was great to deal with. We are very pleased with this first step in our project.

I had seen the great work they were doing in my area, around Carnforth Drive and Kennedy Road, in the Spring of 2017.
My driveway needed to be redone. I had never had curbs and I needed a walkway because I had taken down a wind wall.
I waited to see all of the work they had done until the Spring of 2018. I wanted to see how the new concrete and asphalt held up over the winter. Everyone’s driveways held up.
When I called to hire the company, I was greeted by Marcello’s wife. She was exceptional on the phone. Marcello came to my home shortly after that and was exceptional. He had ideas for me for the walkway and managed to widen my driveway to properly fit two cars side by side.
The customer care was exceptional. The work done was exceptional and was done in a very timely fashion.
Everything I had installed was perfect, looked great and held up over the winter. I cannot express how satisfied I am with Marcello and Stone-Ridge. Marcello even came by this Spring to look at the work after the winter and make sure I was still satisfied.
Some concrete companies disappear after one year and do not care about their clients after the work is done.
Stone-Ridge has been around 22 years and stand by their good name. I highly recommend them and would use them again without a second thought.

I hired stone-ridge to remove the old paved driveway, install a new paved drive way along with French curbs and pour a concrete walkway in the Spring of 2017. The crew including Frank and Sal were very professional and did an excellent job, on time, very polite and respectful etc.. however, after three months the driveway became cracked in several places and the front walkway concrete develop a crack from one side to the other. I have sent several emails and texts including photos, have spoken with Frank and Sal and the office several times since. At first Frank said to leave it with him over winter and he would take a look in the Spring. Spring and Summer are long gone and still not response. I have sent a letter recently, hopefully I will hear back soon. The cracks in the driveway are getting worse and will get worse during the coming winder.

Hired stone ridge to repave our driveway and do concrete curbs and walkways. Marcello, Sal and his crew were great, very professional and easy to deal with. Great quality workmanship. Overall we are very happy with our new driveway and walkways. Thanks Stoneridge!

I had written an earlier review about the paving disappointment I have with an unacceptable patch job where an acorn popped thru and noticing other spots where safe to assume the paving was put on too thin. Now are a couple of 2 short years the concrete curbs are flaking apart. I emailed Stone Ridge and as per their record never heard back. It disappointing you put so much money into what you hope would be an enhancement on the looks of your home only too come away disappointed. I would not recommend using this coming for any of your paving, concrete or interlocking work … you too will be disappointed.

Hired Stone-Ridge Paving to do some work in the front of my home, this included the driveway repave, walkway and steps.
During the excavation, the workers damaged the brick work at the front of my house, and then (Sal) the owner charged me $50 to parge the wall, something that wouldn’t of need repair if they had not of damaged it.
The cement and steps were done on July 07/2018, and the very next day, the cement workers came by to remove the framing. They damaged the new concrete and said when they do the neighbor’s, they will fix it. They also damaged the existing concrete at the side of the house.
When they worked on my neighbor’s project, the workers, walked across my grass with the new cement on their shoes, and stained my newly finished work. They also jammed the framing boards on my sprinkler head, which now has to be replaced. The steps that they did were also not level. I addressed this with Marchello, the sales rep. he said that is supposed to be slanted for drainage. When he came to my home, Marchello addressed that the water is seeping into the foundation of my home from my previous steps, and that he recommends that I have it repaired, ONLY for them to make the new steps slanted as well, when I addressed this he stated that it has to be for drainage. The stairs also has a white patch on it, I also address this with the team, and they said they will touch up the area, and fix the chunk of cement missing on the curb at the bottom of the driveway, not to mention the extensive damage that they did on the cities curb.
They also left an exposed screw in the wall, I have attached pictures of the quality of work,
They have been paid in full, and it is now August 17/2018, they have not returned to finish the touch ups.
I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.
