Gutter Filter Canada Inc

I Had Gutter Filter Canada install their product, which comes with a 20 year no clog warranty. This includes replacemenmt or product refund at their option. The product is absolute garbage & does not do what they say it will. The company's service is non existant & I would not reccoment them to anyone.

I was pleased that Gutter Filter cleaned and repaired my eavestroughs, and installed their system. Now, a year later the eavestrough has started to leak between the fascia and the trough and I noticed maple keys sliding behind the filter. I have telephoned the company twice about repairing the new drip. I received no response even though I was told I would be called right back. I then sent an email last week without response. My original call was at the end of May. So their installation may be fine but their after care, so far, is non-existent.

Since writing this review the company returned my call and explained that they have been busy with installations and would get to my problem by the middle of next week. Two service men came by today and checked my roof and gutters, answered my questions and did some minor repair work to my eaves. They were knowledgeable and courteous.

I first saw the Guttter Filter product at the National Home Show a couple of years ago. I installed it into my eavestroughs and since then, I have never had to clean out the leaves and pine needles. I recently purchased more of the product to install into my upper eavestrough in order to prevent the formation of icicles during winter. It works well.

We had our gutter filled by Gutter Filter last week and they cleaned out all the old leaves for us and filled it up with the material. It will take some time before we can evaluate whether it was worth it, but time will tell if the leaves get blocked in the gutter again. Before, we were spending about $200 per year to get them cleaned, so this should solve the problem if it has been done correctly.

I would just make sure that you know the length (measure your gutters) when getting an estimate because after they do the gutters, they come back with a price that may not match your initial quote. We had to tell them they clearly overstated the length of our gutters in the front back and they adjusted it because we were able to prove that their measurements were wrong. Just make sure you know what the final cost will be (or get an ACCURATE ESTIMATE).
