Kodiak renovated two of our bathrooms, one in 2004 and the second in 2008. Each renovation cost ~$25K, which we feel was reasonable for what we got. To start the project, Kodiak visited us, we gave them our requirements, they gave us ideas and suppliers, and then we and Kodiak worked out a plan over a period of a few weeks. After this, Kodiak managed the project, getting tradesmen, ordering supplies and scheduling the work. The renovations moved at a good pace, so we were able to use the bathrooms about 4 weeks after starting work. They were flexible enough to let me contribute unskilled labour where possible. In both projects, the work Kodiak supplied (plumbing and carpentry) plus the work they contracted (electrical, drywall, tiling, painting) was of very high quality, and we have had no significant problems. With the minor issues that always appear in a renovation (a leaky tap, a tight tap handle), they were quick to respond and fix the problem.
When my wife and I listen to horror stories about people who try to do bathroom renovations themselves (without having the skills), or act as their own project managers (without knowing who are the reliable local tradesmen), we always feel that we made the right choice with Kodiak.
