We decided to renovate our kitchen so we refinished our hardwood floors. We had to replace some sections and you can't even tell the difference between the new and old floor. The company worked very fast and did excellent work. Our floors look amazing and I would highly recommend this company.

We love our new flooring. We had new hardwood installed in one room, existing hardwood repaired, sanded and everything stained with Rubio monocoat. Cal and his crews did an excellent job - the scheduling was perfect and there was minimal disruption. I would highly recommend Hattons Hardwood.

I had oak hardwood floors that were stained dark brown and had them refinished back to the natural golden color. It was a big color transformation and the new lighter color completely warmed up the whole space. As well the carpets were removed from the bedrooms and new natural colored oak hardwood floors were installed. The color match between the new and old floors was excellent. Cal and his crew were patient and accommodating in the process, as I had had a negative experience with a different contractor a few years ago. Thank you.

Great communication and organization. Start was confirmed in advance and the staff arrived on time, extremely polite and knowledgeable. The repair/refinishing of hardwood created little to no dust and made our floors look better than the first time installed. I would highly recommend. Cal and his team did a great job. It was a pleasure to have them look after our project.

Wow. I was so nervous about sanding out nearly 4000+ SQ Feet of our dark chocolate brown floors to the original red oak (light blond). Cal Hatton re-assured me that everything would be OK and even came to do a test patch for me. He then went one step further and recommended a new "invisible" stain which looks absolutely amazing. Our Thirty year old floors went from looking dated to super modern in a few days. I could not be happier and we receive so many compliments.

We contracted Hatton’s to install hardwood flooring in our basement and on our basement stairs. We had had a bad experience previously with a flooring company. So, I was a bit skittish. I was first struck with Cal’s attention to details during the quoting period and that was really important to us. A great job can be ruined if details, however small they might seem, are ignored. Cal understood that I am a pretty meticulous person and so he took the time to explain to make sure I understood what we would get. I so appreciated his honesty. Dustin and Justin were amazing installers! Both were very respectful and pleasant. Really appreciated both of them. Dustin actually brought a sample of the stair edge so I could see the finished product! Really great customer service and a great job too! Perhaps a rare combination these days. I could not be happier with the work they have done for us. We also had some stone tile installed around our fireplace. The sample was a fair bit different than the product and Cal went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the end product. Andre did a great job on the stone tile and both crews, flooring and tile were very clean and kept the work area neat and tidy at all times. One of my best experiences overall! I would highly recommend using Hatton’s. They more than met our expectations in every way!

Through my contractor Yann of Yconn Construction recommended Cal of Hattons Hardwood floors. I was impressed by his knowledge of our floor and suggestions of improving the overall look. In addition he added new flooring throughout the house, feathering new and old flooring. Floors are truly amazing.

We are very happy with this company. When Cal, the owner, came over the first time doake the estimate, we appreciated his knowledge and advice. He was not pushy and not trying to sell us the most expensive option but the best choice for our busy house. Communication from there on was always open and clear. It was completely worry and hassle free. He was always keeping me on the loop of everything (the materials they use are also Canadian made). On the week of the installation, the crew was polite, friendly and caring towards our pets and son and always ready to answe any questions (very patient too, considering the level of curiosity my son had towards their job). I'm a very picky person and don't give 10 stars easily. But they absolutely deserve it.

Cal and his three separate teams of specialists worked on our project for 10 days. Their professionalism was unquestionable and the quality of the end product shows. The one team was challenged with our request to install hardwood on our curved staircase, but they worked tirelessly until it was successfully completed. We are very happy with the final floors.
Cal remained in touch with us throughout the project and provided numerous tips along the way on the floor maintenance. His team were all polite, punctual, meticulous and demonstrated pride in their workmanship. At no time did we sense they were unprepared to answer our many questions. The work was completed in the agreed time frame.
It became clear to us that Cal and his team were not just completing
a job, their attention to detail and ensuring our complete satisfaction was very apparent with numerous offers of followup to correct any problems - if this is necessary.

Hatton's removed the flagstone in our entrance way and replaced it with red oak to match our existing hardwood. They did an excellent job, feather-patching into the existing wood in our living room and kitchen. They also feather-patched another area in our kitchen where the previous owner had done a poor patch job. Hatton's sanded all of the old and new wood on the main level and applied rubio monocoat. The floor looks great!

One reason we chose Hatton's is that Cal guaranteed he could get the whole job done while we were away on vacation for 9 days. He did not disappoint. In fact, by working long days, they got it done in 4 days, so the monocoat had already been curing for 5 days by the time we got back. I was very impressed because this was not an easy job.

We are happy we chose the monocoat because it has a natural and warm look. It takes some getting used to because it does not have the shiny finished look of our upstairs hardwood, and it feels very different on bare feet, sort of gritty compared to a smooth urethane finish. Might not be for everyone, but we like it.

In summary, I would recommend Hatton's to anyone. Very professional and reliable!
