Bruce fielded several emails with series of questions and photos before arranging for Justin to install a Carrier Infinity 98 furnace at our place. The install went extremely well despite a late start due to regular delivery helper being unavailable. The cost was 4600 pre-tax.

Justin shaped some metal for me to use to close large gaps in cold air return, and fastened in the return boot some turning vanes (for best practice install) I'd ordered from Chicago and cut to size with grinder on site.

He also managed to reconnect our central HEPA air cleaner to the new furnace so that it only comes on when furnace is running. This helps reduce noise from auxiliary equipment on a furnace this very quiet variable-speed two stage furnace. The lead was a bit short on HEPA cleaner so he extended the range by putting a receptacle on outside of furnace.

The new thermostat allows for a wide range of settings and blower speeds which should help reduce cold drafts in our 100+ year old house. We are very happy with the install and advice received.

Justin also wore a mask the whole time to help stop COVID which we appreciated because we're in our 60's. We look forward to working with EconoAir in the future.

Our a/c stopped cooling during the July Heatwave. First Technician was OK, he diagnosed we needed a new coil but didn’t resolve our issues. However, Justin arrived and installed the new coil as expected. Justin then went above and beyond to diagnose and fix all of our issues. Great work by Justin. Our thanks.

We asked EconoAir co. to diagnose our old central a.c. system; they found the issue right away and provided a recommendation. We opted to have them install a new system (with a reputable brand). They were on time and did a professional install during a hot day. We are thrilled with our new A.C., it is an improvement for us for sure. We will continue with them for maintenance. Recommended.

Justin was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, the whole process was smooth and resulted in exactly the outcome we were hoping for! This project was the installation of heating and A/C in an old Toronto home where we didn’t want unsightly ducts all over the place. The choice of Unico system with small-diameter tubing, a gas boiler and a well sized A/C system was perfect for us. Faraz came in the middle of the night on a weekend when our furnace stopped working. He fixed it quickly and showed us the steps to prevent this issue from happening again.

My Carrier furnace stopped blowing air tonight, which is a very cold night. I called the Carrier hotline, who provided Econoair's number. Econoair (and Faraz) was at my house within an hour. Faraz was courteous, professional, and explained what caused the problem, how to fix, and how I can prevent the problem in the future. Now we have heat and a fixed furnace for a reasonable price.
