Jesse from Rideau Bathtub Reglazing provided excellent follow up for a touch up required on my tub. He was on time for the appointment, was very helpful and I was impressed with the service provided.

Rideau bathtub has been reglazing tubs for over 10 years in properties I manage. They book me in and get the job done, its very rare that their bathtubs require further attention. Very satisfied, I never have to worry. Great, durable products compared to others I have seen.

courteous and reliable? Not at all. Very courteous until we requested they fix the mess they left. I missed 3 days of working waiting for them. Nobody showed up, nobody returned my calls. AVOID!

I have called this company to have my tub reglazed several times in the past. Prior to 2013 the company was run by Jonathan who ran the company, but ever since the company has gone to the son, Jesse, the company's work ethic and work completion has completely gone all wrong. Trying to get in touch with the secretary is a hassle as she is working two secretary jobs from home (she openly told me this on the phone). When I do manage to make contact with the company to book jobs; I hear children yealling on the phone, very unprofessional. After several attempts to have tubs reglazed and the company never showing up (except for one time when jesse showed up with a 15 year old "Gangster"), I have given up complete faith in this company and will not be calling back. Jesse has destroyed the company his father built.

When I recently purchased a house, my parents suggested that I contact this company since my bathtub was in really bad condition. They were satisfied with their own bathtub that was refinished by this company 3 years ago. I made an appointment, they showed up and did an amazing job at reglazing my bathtub, overall my washroom looks much better and cleaner. I have to say I am really satisfied with their work !

I recently hired Rideau Bathtub Reglazing as part of my washroom renovation project. I have a very small budget and installing a new bathtub would have costed me an arm and a leg. The employes were very professional and pleasant, I had a brand new looking bathtub in just 3 hours without having to do anything. They gave me a 5 year warranty and insisted that if anything happened to my bathtub they will come back and repair it for free. I strongly recommend them, great team.

Nothing with this company is as advertized. Unfortunately, recent complaints were not public before I hired them to reglaze my bathtub. They did not appear experienced and did not provide what they promised. Bathtub is rough and dull in finish with lots of pit marks. When they did show up to fix (after 2 missed appointments with no notice) they were not able to complete the work as I would not accept the shortcuts they wanted to do. After booking another appointment and waiting and again having a no show, I requested a full refund for which I am still waiting after 2 weeks. The owner cannot deliver what he advertises. Poor communication and ineffticient. Do not hire this company. Get a new bathtube instead.

I had my tub reglazed as part of a full bathroom renovation. The gentleman was polite and quite fast at the job. Once done I asked about the fish eyes in the tub and was told it would disappear with curing. 2 days later on inspection dust was embedded in the glaze, some section the original color was bleeding through and the fish eyes were still there. After e-mail contact, they wanted to reschedule for two weeks later. It was impossible due to other contractor work in the space, I asked for refund or settlement of some sort. I was ignored and charged for the service. Would not recommend this company. They had a similar complaint at BBB earlier this year. I had to replace the tub to meet the time line of other contractors.

I looked into replacing, relining. and refinishing an existing tub and tile surround. I chose Jesse at Rideau Bathtub over 2 years ago. It turned out great, and they have been back twice to do minor touch ups, no questions asked. Guarantee their work 5 years. The cheapest and best solution for my project, I am very happy with them.
