It was a pleasure to do business with this company. From the initial contact through the assistance from a designer, measurements, ordering and installation, everyone I dealt with were efficient, friendly and reliable. I appreciated the advice given by the staff as well and am very happy with the finished products. It is rare to find a business today that exceeds expectations and they did. I would recommend this business!

I had priced Eclipse Shutters elsewhere and simply couldn't justify the cost. Then, during my daily commute to Toronto, I saw the Preferred Window Coverings van and jotted down their website address. When I visited the site weeks later, on a Sunday if I recall correctly, I sent a request for a quote and had a response within hours! I was pleasantly surprised (shocked in fact), at the great price Kevin quoted.

My shutters have since been installed and they are beautiful! My husband and I couldn't be happier! In fact, we have already recommended Preferred Window Coverings to two of our best friends and we've had Kevin measure and quote on our front window so that when we're ready, we can just order over the phone!

My wife and I had them in for quotes then installation as we have been looking at different companies for 3 years. Kevin was extremely knowledgeble and helpful. Their quotes were reasonable and installlation was right on quoted schedule. All worked wonderfully. One minor technical issue found on 1 blind but Kevin came that night and it was replaced within a week. We are extremely pleased with the work and product. Kevin Woods came to our new town house to assemble our new shutters...and they look fantastic!!! Not only do the shutters look amazing but Kevin was the nicest person ever. We have dealt with Preferred Window Coverings-and Kevin Woods for my parents transition from a house to a seniors apartment.
From the first visit to the store to look at our options and get ideas-we were greeted and assisted by a very professional, friendly and understanding product advisor. We got some good information and ideas we had never thought about before.
Then we had our free in-home consultation with Kevin Woods-who is the owner. He is an oracle of knowledge when it comes to anything "window coverings" and again-gave us some good information and ideas.
We ordered our Sunproject Sheerweaves-where we could still see out of our patio door-but it cut the glare of the sun and also reduced the amount of heat in our apartment. To compliment the look of our new blind-we also had a custom made operable Roman Valance made-this competed the look of our new blind.
Our installation was booked a few weeks after ordering. When Kevin arrived-he had all the tools needed, a handy little cart-so he was able to transport through our building in one trip. After a seamless professional installation, we are happy to report that we would whole heartedly recommend Kevin and his team at Preferred Window Coverings-as a business of choice for all your window covering needs!

We searched everywhere for the 'perfect' blinds to finish the window coverings in our home. Previous owners had purchased from Kevin. So, we decided to visit his showroom. We easily made our decision but Kevin suggested a home visit just to be sure. We were very comfortable dealing with Kevin and are very pleased with the Hunter Douglas product we purchased. When we need more window coverings we'll definitely return to Preferred Window Coverings in Whitby!
