Rain City moving was recommended because they are familiar with the buildings I was moving from and to. They were very cost-effective and careful with my belongings. I also used their box service, which were plastic bins. Much better than cardboard boxes, nothing broke. The only thing about the bins is they were not very deep, so larger items, e.g. pictures had to be packed separately. Highly recommend

these guys are great! they not only showed up on time...but were early to get the truck set up for our 10amstart.. the guys are friendly, professional and fast (and richard really cares about his customers) we will never again try to recruit friends (bribing them with pizza + beer) and rent a truck to try and get a move done. hiring raincity for three hours is the way to go.

We were very happy with the movers from Raincity Moving. For $85 per hour we had two movers. We had a 2 bedroom apartment in Vancouver with a lot of belongings. Not only did they load and pack the truck professionally, they are also able to assist with removing and donating unwanted furniture. The movers were very polite and consulted with us to ensure our needs were met during the whole moving experience. We selected Raincity through word-of-mouth and we would gladly recommend them to others. Great Job!

I moved from a 2 BR condo in Downtown Vancouver to a Duplex in Marpole. Two movers showed up on time, were very polite and obviously knew what they were doing. I'd definitely recommend Raincity Moving to anyone.

Richard changed his meeting time for my convenience. He showed up on time with the right size truck and the best equipment. He cared about our stuff as if it were his own. The move was flawless with great attention to detail. He even figured out the best route in my building to lessen the disturbance and inconvenience to the building and its occupants.
