Weed A Way Ltd.

Started using weedaway this year and noticed a significant improvement in my lawn. They said that they would kill our weeds and they have done exactly that. I am very happy with the work they have done. I would recommend weedaway to anyone looking for good customer and lawn service.

WORST BUSINESS PRACTICES!! STAY AWAY!! We used them in 2011 and the service provided was ok. In 2012, they incessantly called but we no longer wanted the service as we were considering re-landscaping the yard. In 2013 the calls started to come again and once again we went out of our way to let them know not to come as we did not want the service. We called back many times to ensure they did not come again. However, they decided to come anyway without consent and without permission. They billed us for the "services rendered" and then proceeded to take us to collections because we didn't pay for something we NEVER wanted. I even tried to call them after all the questionable ethical behaviour to sort it all out to which they yelled at me and proceeded to hang up on me. If you call to cancel apparently you need to get a cancellation number from them. ENSURE YOU DO THIS or they will insist you never called them to cancel the services. The business practice of this company is TERRIBLE!! I see below that we are not the only ones that this has happened to. Buyers beware!!

I have been with weed-a-way for over 3 years. I tried so many different lawn care companies, before, but nothing seem to have worked. Ever since I signed up with weed-a-way, I don't have a single complaint, the lawn is great. My lawn is serviced by them throughout the season from time-to-time. Customer service is excellent, specially the Supervisor Keith, always very polite and knowledgeable. I appreciate when I'm told what necessary for my lawn. It's definitely not like a daily sales call, whatever recommendations were made have all benefited my lawn. Overall I am happy with services and the staff that I have dealt with. Excellent service with a reasonable price :)

just got off the phone with weed a way regarding an invoice for over $261. I did a search to see if others were victimize by this company and it's not a surprise that their are over four pages of complaints. Better business bureau has started the process.

it's unfortunate but its reassuring to know that i'm not alone - now I stand firm.

I purchased garden soil from Weed-A-Way, and it was delivered promptly the next day. Because we were home at the time, Kevin, the driver took time to speak with us about where we would like the bag placed. We needed it in a difficult to reach corner, but Kevin happily took his time to drop the earth exactly where we needed it, without damaging the surrounding trees.

The soil itself was excellent quality with no extraneous debris, and most reasonably priced for cubic yard bags. A quick measure showed that the bag was overfilled - a bonus as we received much more than we paid for.

Highly recommended for the courteous service, and convenience of the delivery.

This is my 4th year using the services of weed a way and I am 100% satisfied with them. Not only do they deliver on what they promise but the representatives are very polite and friendly. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for quality service at affordable price.

I have been a loyal customer of Weed-A-Way for the last 7 years and felt it necessary to complement them on their exemplary all encompassing services. For the last several years they have been responsible for keeping my lawn weed free, which they have successfully done with the most extraordinary customer service. The fertilizer they use and the spraying for the weeds has made my grass thick and greener then I ever thought possible.

However, it is not until recently that they have become my one stop shop for all my gardening needs. Two summers ago when they came for their monthly service routine, they also provided me with ½ a cubic yard of mulch I needed for landscaping my property. I was ecstatic that the quality of their mulch was just as superb as their weed prevention. I now have the finest looking lawn on my block and all of my neighbours now use Weed-A-Way also. I am truly grateful that they are as satisfied as I am.

Lastly, I would like to comment on their Black garden soil. WOW what a miracle product. I purchased a yard last summer and I have never had such a flourishing crop of vegetables before. The richness of the soil, gave the vegetables the nutrients they needed to grow larger then I have ever seen in the past 10 summers and produced an abundance quantity. I will continue to use weed away and suggest anyone looking for a lawn care provider do the same.
