We hired TouchWood for a big move about an hour from our previous location.
They were professional, friendly, and very hard workers. We had no problems, and everything went as smoothly as possible.

Navigating the world of moving companies can be a daunting task, especially when you're only looking to move a single item. I had been on the hunt for a reliable and reasonably priced mover, but to my dismay, most quotes I received were upwards of $600. Just when I was about to give up, I decided to try my luck on Homestars.

Touchwood Movers was the first to respond to my request on Homestars, and I must say, their promptness was only the beginning of their exceptional service. Not only were they the most competitively priced, but their communication throughout the process was top-notch.

On the day of the move, Balraj and Randep were assigned to my job. Scheduled for a 9:30 am slot on a Sunday, they were punctual, arriving right on the dot. Their professionalism was evident from the get-go. Both were incredibly polite, taking the utmost care with my item, ensuring it was handled with the delicacy it deserved.

The delivery location was 25 minutes away, and upon arrival, they took a moment to assess the best approach for moving the item inside. Their meticulous planning and careful handling were commendable. The entire process was seamless, efficient, and most importantly, the item was transported safely.

Overall, I am happy with the service I received. The movers arrived within the 1 hour time range that was scheduled. I am disappointed that my desk couldn't be moved to the basement like I had planned, but that's not really anyone's fault - just a matter of door size vs. desk dimensions.

Touch wood movers were very professional and friendly. Price is right!!! We moved from Brampton to ottawa and received a flat rate. Most companies charge what I paid for the full move just for getting your items to you. Then you pay by the hour for load/unload usually about 100 a hour per mover. This could get extremely expensive with a long distance move like ours. The owner Bobby was was very quick to respond to my questions. I highly recommend you choosing touch wood movers.

Touchwood Movers is the best moving company I have ever hired to handle a move. They had to drive to three properties in total and they handled every curveball with a smile and a helping hand. They were ahead of schedule at every stop and they took good care of all of the furniture and items they were transporting. I can't recommend their services enough.

I recently moved a house. It was a complex move with many large pieces of furniture and piano. They were up for the challenge - they arrived exactly on time and finished the job within 1/2 hour of the original estimate. The team worked hard the entire time and they were careful, courteous, and very professional.

The team were incredibly professional and made our move stress free. They worked so hard and were very polite. They even dealt with a very unreasonable individual who seamed to have an issue with where the moving van was parked when loading. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. The team had arrived on time on my moving day and did an amazing job overall handling everything with care between homes.
