This was a recommendation from a friend and it was an EXCELLENT recommendation! I strongly recommend John and his team at Tome movers, they were very professional, very friendly, very careful with our things, quick and efficient, and knowledgeable regarding the storage unit I had rented which was super helpful on the day of the move. Really nice guys, who do the job very well, and their prices are good. Definitely using them when we move back into our house!

Tome are amazing. I hire only Tome for moving. They moved SOL Pilates studio in two hours and had us all set up and ready for business with a second stop afterwards for storage drop off. I've used Tome for the last 20 years and make sure I have their contact info for any moves! They take all the stress out of moving!

This was my 2nd move with Tome and they did a fabulous job. We had two pick-ups, each 1-2 bdrm and a final stop to unload. The team was early, ready to go and very efficient as I'd come to expect. They work hard and are super polite and great to have on such an important day. I will ALWAYS use Tome to move!

John Tome was awesome! I have moved many times so have had several experiences with moving companies. John worked hard all day, waited patiently until I got my keys and did not wast my dollars on his taking of breaks. He did a wonderful job, I would use him again for sure!

We were very happy with Tome movers. We had a small move (2 br apartment) on September 9th. John and his 2 assistants showed up a little bit early, were extremely efficient but careful. Nothing was damaged, and the cost was slightly under what we had estimated. They asked us exactly where we wanted each item placed in our new home, and even had runner mats with them to protect the floors. John even helped us put our bed frame together with his drill at our new home, which was an unexpected bonus. We would definitely recommend them and will use them when the time comes to move again. We also liked that they are a small family business and not a huge corporation. I thought that the price was also much more reasonable than the large companies, and it was very well worth every penny!

Excellent moving company! They arrived early, worked extremely hard and were very careful with our things. They were friendly, polite and made our move stress free. Their fees were very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Very reliable movers!

The cost of our move from Tome was $200 over our quote. They left our bed and dresser disassembled in shambles at our new home, put 3 scratches and a dent in the walls, and offered absolutely no help or reprisal when I spoke with them about it saying "we're on our way to the west end, there's nothing we can do". I will not use Tome again under any circumstances.

Tome movers has moved my family 4 times in the past 4 years. They moved us out to Ancaster and now back to Toronto. These guys are fast, reliable and gentle with all our belongings. I only recommend them to others. We will see you soon Joe as our house is finished with the reno next year. Thanks

Have now used these guys to move three times. They always show up half an hour early, fast, efficient, careful with our stuff and a pleasure to work with. Everyone who I recommended them to has been very happy with them.

Moved from a condo to a small semi with very narrow stairwells to both the upstairs and downstairs floors.

They had our condo packed in less than an hour and a half.

On moving in it was very hard to fit our couch in but they really worked hard without damaging our walls, stairs, doors or appliances to get it in. It took some creativity but it's in!

Other things couldn't fit up the stairs (queen box spring and wardrobe) but they tried really hard and didn't give up until it was obvious that it simply would not fit. They were careful not to damage the walls or stairs when doing this.

Overall extremely happy with the service I received and will never move again without Tome Moving Co.
